Description

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. And when it comes to scuba diving equipment, this adage often holds true. But Cressi has long produced a range of affordable masks that perform exceptionally well for the cost, and the SF1 appears to continue in this tradition. One thing to note when looking at prices, is that although it is related, the price doesn’t always reflect the quality. There are some great masks on the market, even for smaller faces, at very affordable prices.

And the mask itself is stylish and comfortable. A lot of prescription masks are often bulky but the Ceos has a flare to it and the Freedom in it’s name is for the Freedom silicone skirt that has special dimples at the temple and cheek bones that allow the skirt to mold to your face shape better. Bare Duo Compact Mask - lightweight, durable, easily adjustable straps, and with a tri-colour frame… chances are you won’t be lost even in the murkiest of water. It is low volume and available in single clear silicone or dual window design. The high quality silicone skirt is very flexible and soft and is incredbly comfortable to wear, even for extended periods. THis quality silicone means the mask seals really well on a variety of faces.Available colours: Clear, Yellow, Blue, Silver, Dark, White, Pink, Lilac, Khaki, Orange and Lime. Cressi F1 Frameless Mask – Features The skirt is very polyvalent for all kinds of physiognomies and offers a great comfort even with much extended use. The design calculated of interior spaces combined with the calibrated skirt flexibility, variable depending on the area, provide a great mask’s stability with a great comfort and adaptation polyvalence. Although generally designed for adult faces (usually 4.5-5 inches from one edge of the skirt to the other), modern design and technology means finding a mask that fits smaller faces is easier now than ever before. Yes, it’s fine to rent or borrow a mask. But it really is worth buying one for your specific needs, so we thought we would list some of the considerations and recommendations for the best scuba diving masks for smaller faces. Comfort

The lens of this mask has been specially treated to make it resistant to scratches and corrosion. It is also coated with a synthetic hydrophobic film that repels water and helps keep fog away from your vision while you’re diving. PerformanceSimilar to the Superocchio, with a very traditional design, it has wider lenses, and in general is less compact than the more famous sister. Construction and compactness The Calibro has been somehow one of the first modern revolutions in the Cressi masks line. With the innovative Fog Stop System it made the first step towards the future. In addition, special nerves on the skirt and matt silicone internally and externally make the Cressi Calibro a top level solution. Thinner silicone on the sides of the nose to help equalization is a plus. For deeper information read the x-rays and Super test articlepublished at the time of the launch of this mask. Nano Cressi F1 Mask is super comfortable, it doesn’t hurt your nose or feel like it’s pinching your skin. The silicone skirt is soft, too, so you don’t get that annoying pinch around your ears that can be so painful when you’re diving beneath the waves.

The Cressi Nano has been in 2016 a great product showing excellent internal volume reduction and field of view. We measured these values and came to the conclusion they where the best on the market for a two lenses dismountable mask with frame. All details can be read on the x-ray & Super test article published. The monolens Z1 & ZS1 The benefit of brighter white, yellow, and pink coloured skirts is that they are easy to spot and will make you more easily identifiable, even in murky waters. These may be good for the newer or less confident divers. The best masks should form an airtight and watertight seal; effectively manage your air consumption with each dive; and not leave your face covered with marks, no matter how long you are under water. Comfort is one thing which will determine your overall enjoyment, so although it may take time finding the mask that fits you best, it really is worth it. Vision and Volume

Once you have the best fit, and the best design for you, you can focus on your dive itself. Seven of The Best Scuba Masks for Smaller Faces Both the A1 and the F-Dual look like solid contenders for trips to come, but I’m most excited to see what — if any — difference the yellow lenses make on the A1. Post-Trip Update While all elements of the Cressi Z1 and Cressi ZS1 are the same, the dimensions and weight evidently change. The Z1 has a 150 mm wide lens, while the height is 85 mm. The ZS1 has a max width of the lens equal to 145 mm and maximum height equal to 82 mm. The external maximum dimension of the Z1 is 97 mm, while the maximum width is 165 mm. The same measurements for the ZS1 are 158 mm and 93 mm. The weight of the Z1 is 200, a high value determined by the big monolens. The ZS1 weighs 185 grams. Special solutions
