My daughter's Received this to review in December but I had forgotten due to COVID issues, anyway, my daughter's love all the fashionistas and this doll was no different. This suggested age range may be based on what age range the manufacturer recommends will like the product best, or what age range is appropriate based on safety information and restrictions.
