Install up to 8x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans for massive cooling potential, with room to mount up to four radiators. Sequential – Coloring each LED one by one and then starting over with a different color when reaching the end

With everything powered up, we can see that the system comes to life, and the LL fans shine brilliantly in its default rainbow setting. The fans have a myriad of options for RGB settings to bets match user taste, but the rainbow one worked well enough for photos. One thing of note is the fact that with our Corsair AIO and RAM, we can sync all of them to the same lighting profile for a more cohesive illumination of your build, especially if you get the additional RGB strips for the chamber. Final Thoughts The CORSAIR Crystal Series 680X RGB is a dual-chamber tempered glass ATX smart case that keeps your system running cool with room for up to eight fans and four radiators, including one 360mm. Enjoy superb airflow and brilliant RGB lighting from three LL120 RGB fans, controlled by an included CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO and powered by iCUE software. Show off a stunning view of your PC’s components with three tempered glass panels on the front, roof, and hinged side door, while an optional vertical GPU mount allows you to put your graphics card center stage. Make your next custom build incredibly easy and undeniably cool with the 680X RGB. Once you install and run the software, it will automatically detect all your iCUE compatible devices. As you can see, the pre-installed Lighting Node PRO was found. If for some reason you don’t see your device, just shut down and restart the application. We have had this happen in another Corsair review, and a simple restart of the software resolved the problem. High-speed USB 3.1 Gen-2 Type-C front panel connector puts future-proof connectivity within easy reach.

Prior to load testing, we collect idle temperature results for ten minutes to determine the unloaded cooling performance of a case's fans and air channels. Thermal benchmarking is conducted for 1400 seconds (23 minutes), a period we've determined sufficient for achieving equilibrium. The over-time data is aggregated and will occasionally be compiled into charts, if interesting or relevant. The equilibrium performance is averaged to create the below charts. Founded in 1994, CORSAIR has grown from pioneering the high-performance DRAM market into one of the world’s leading providers of high-performance PC peripherals and components. CORSAIR offers a complete range of products to equip gamers, enthusiasts and e-sports athletes, including mechanical keyboards, precision gaming mice, wireless headsets, high-performance components that gamers use to build gaming PCs, and the CORSAIR ONE fully-integrated gaming PC. With a company-wide commitment to quality, innovative design, advanced features and high performance, CORSAIR products have won thousands of media and industry awards, earning their place in gamers’ hands and PCs following years of development and engineering by a team dedicated to building great products they themselves would want to use. GPU dT was 27.7C during the GPU render, perhaps on the warm side of average. The O11 Dynamic did better again here with a 25.2C dT average. Neither GPU nor CPU temperatures reached anything close to their maximums, but it’s a good demonstration that even without heavy synthetic workloads the hardware is running warmer than it needs to. Corsair 680X Noise Thanks for the response and the input. I appreciate your insight and you showing your loop off, it looks great!

The list is in four parts, first the pre-war sets, then the post war numerical sets ie 670, 680X, 990 etc, then we have the EC, EB, EP sets, finally we list the accessories for which manuals are not generally available. We have also included the approximate year the set was introduced. How would you even mount a GPU vertically without some kind of extra mount? As far as I know, most cases don't have such thing as a "vertical slot". Custom builds needn’t be cluttered - a distinctive dual-chamber design makes it incredibly easy to assemble an immaculate system that keeps cables tidy and out of view. Toward the front of the case, Corsair has included three of their LL120’s fans and has room for up to a 280mm radiator/AIO. We measured the 680X at 42.5 dBA. It could certainly run quieter with decreased fan speeds, but there are four 120mm fans, and the large air gaps around the front panel do very little to muffle the noise generated at max speed. The trouble with all of this is that the Corsair 680X is not particularly quiet nor particularly effective at cooling, which is odd since it is named the “680X RGB High Airflow.” Conclusion: Corsair 680X vs. Lian Li O11 Dynamic

On the front of the box, we are presented with a profile shot of the 680X with some Corsair branding in the upper left corner and another enlarged logo behind the case drawing. I recently did my first ever custom loop in my 680X, I came across a few fitting issues during my first attempt, but you can see my final result below.

As you can see a vertically mounted GPU is essential if using the XG7, and front mounted XD5. The GPU and Pump/Res will overlap. Now that the Light Node PRO has been configured, we can adjust the lighting effect for port 1 using the left navigation pane.Illuminate your system with three included LL120 RGB fans, boasting a total of 48 customizable RGB LEDs. Gaming PCs Liquid Series® PCs Video Editing PCs Pro Audio Computers Professional Workstations Desktop PCs The 680X comes pre-fitted with 3x LL20 RGB fans for improved aesthetics. Extensive air and water cooling options are included as you may install up to 8x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans for proper cooling potential, with room to mount up to four radiators – including one 360mm. It's also equipped with magnetic dust filters on all intake fans which allows for easy building and maintenance. So I am still not 100% sure on the pump being up front, because I don't want it to look too crowded, but it's good to know that I have that option!
