The cheaper kits don’t have oil filled dampers which I think are a good mod to fit once a bigger motor goes in. The best thing is replacing all the ball bearings. This includes the bearings on the wheels as well as the gearbox.

Now when it comes to Tamiya Grasshopper, initiate installing the rear friction dampers in exchange for the Hornet oil-filled ones.Bearing Upgrade: These make the car run more smoothly and are easily installed during assembly.
