Description

When purchasing a watch which has a metal bracelet with adjustable links, we will gladly adjust the watch bracelet to fit your wrist before sending the watch to you - free of charge! The watch has polished rectangular-shaped hour markers which, again, enhance the perception of quality. Right next to the inside of the markers on the dial, the watch has applied luminous dots which help with legibility in the dark. The hands are leaf/dauphine style hands, also made of polished metal. They also have applied Lumibrite on them. The Seiko 5 SNKL45 is built as an everyday watch with a sporty presence. It is extremely versatile and suitable for all kinds of different occasions. It looks just as great with casual clothes as it does with a suit. The good news is that if you wish to change, this watch also looks great on straps as well. Specifications It is indeed a small watch, 36.5 mm; be aware of that. It's cute as a button, and not much bigger. I have to adjust a bit after wearing this watch to a feeling that my other watches are clownishly large.

The case is actually nicely finished and has a polished bezel, which is contrasted with satin-brushed lugs. The case has polished bevels, and the sides of the case are polished two. Overall, the case looks nice and classic. Definitely not the type of finish you would expect for a watch in this price range, so that’s a huge plus.In this article, we will do just that. In this article, we will review the Seiko 5 SNKL45. Seiko 5 SNKL45 case

The watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet which is mostly satin-brushed but has some polished parts which help it match the case perfectly and also keep it from being too tool-like. I like the stainless steel case. It has an interesting multi-layered construction, with the top part having the bead-blasted finish and the bottom (as well as the sides between the lugs) being highly polished. The round bezel formed out of the top section simulates a third layer. The case's sleek lines and tiered geometry contribute significantly to the SNK803's visual appeal. The Seiko 5 range consists of a wide collection of timepieces for all kinds of occasions and purposes. These timepieces have a lot in common, which defines the Seiko 5 range, but the most important for you to know is that they are all automatic, and they all offer exceptional value for money. Around the outer edge of the dial, the watch has printed seconds markers in white. As a nice contrasting detail, the watch has a bright red seconds hand which adds to the sportiness and keeps it from being monochrome. A downside of this watch is that it only has a water resistance of 30m. This means it can resist water splashes but is not suitable for swimming and diving. It would have been nice with better water resistance, but it is important to have in mind that it is built as an everyday watch and not a sports watch. One reason for the relatively low water resistance is its crown. The crown is a push-pull crown and does therefore not protect against water in the same way as a screw-down does.

Fair Prices

The dial is just clean and elegant like a blank canvas that only has the most important parts left, and nothing unnecessary left. As they say, perfection is met not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to remove. Seiko 5 SNKL41 movement The SNKL45 is also extremely versatile and meant as an everyday watch. Regardless of the occasion, this watch will work as your trusted friend and timekeeper, and it will look great whilst serving you. The watch has a white dial with a slightly matte finish and overall actually looks really well-finished. The matte finish gives it an almost silver look at times depending on how the light hits it.

Its value proposition becomes extra evident when you look at this watch in detail. It’s not the best watch out there in terms of finish and build quality, but in relation to its price, there are few better alternatives on the market. This watch contains an "un-adjusted" Seiko 7S26 movement. This movement's strong point is that it continues to run reliably, just about as accurately, for a very long time before requiring service - typically well over 12 years. Up to 20+ is quite possible. Some people claim to have Seiko watches from the 60s (with very similar movement inside) that are still running beautifully without ever visiting a watch maker (50+ years!). The watch is equipped with the in-house automatic mechanical Seiko caliber 7S26. This movement beats with a frequency of 21600BPH (6 beats per second) and has 21 jewels. It has a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. This is generally a very simple procedure. We can do this for you, or you can get the watch adjusted locally. Option 1. Specify your wrist measurement and we will adjust it before being sent The polished markers and hands catch the light beautifully and help give it that premium-watch impression which is a great thing considering its price. If you’re looking for a classy and reliable timepiece for the office, or going-out, then you can't really go wrong with this watch! Note: many photographs of this model make it appear that the color is a darker, brownish yellow. The dial doesn't really shift in color as such photos suggest. The first photo of the listing is pretty close to the comparatively light, creamy-beige, actual color.

But one thing is for sure, this movement will likely not let you down, which after all is the most important thing. Seiko 5 SNKL41 bracelet I have a modest collection of watches, including 2 other Seiko 5 models, one of which is 14 years old. So, the Seiko 5 is well known to me. Note:There are various videos on Youtube that show how to regulate an automatic movement, including several specific to Seiko's 7S26.. This is not something that is for the faint of heart. It's not as easy as some people claim. It takes a steady hand and quite a bit of patience. -Don't try it with an expensive watch! All in all, if you are looking for a stylish, robust, and reliable everyday watch, there are very few better alternatives than the Seiko 5 SNKL41. Now and then I've gone off the reservation with other brands including Hamilton, Eterna (a great Swiss watch I like better than Rolex) and most recently Orient automatics but I don't wear those to work. My Orient Ray seems to keep nearly perfect time out of the box but it cost three times as much as this Seiko 5 and the Orient mineral crystals are said to not be as durable as the Seiko Hardlex crystals and I'd hate to prove that point with my Orient Ray so the Seiko 5 goes to work. I'd put a really tough crystal, affordability and good traditional looks in the plus column for Seiko 5's. (The Seiko Hardlex crystal is the next best thing to sapphire, and really holds up.)The watch has a fixed polished bezel and brushed lugs. A nice detail of this watch is that the case has polished bevels which enhance the feeling and impassion of quality of this timepiece. The downside of this movement is that it ”only” has a water resistance of 30m. This means it can handle water splashes but it is not suitable for swimming. Having said that, it is primarily made as an everyday watch and not meant to be a diver. Seiko has other watches for that. But in my opinion, it would be nice to have at least 100m/330 feet of water resistance. Seiko 5's are not the best automatic watches in the world and nobody in Switzerland is losing sleep over Seiko 5's. However if nothing else Seiko 5's are very durable and since the technology isn't exactly groundbreaking they are super affordable. Translation, Seiko 5's are a decent watch that last a very long time even under rough use, yet relative to anything else that is as durable they are really cheap. In short a bargain if you get one that keeps time out of the box to within 1 minute or so per week.
