If you love rich woody scents and spice, Ralph’s Club Parfum is a dazzling way to transition from day to night. Ralph’s Club exudes luxury from the bottle to the scent, making it a fantastic gift thanks to its universal woody-fougere appeal. The initial spritz is a whirlwind of spice and fruit; apple and mandarin add a slightly sharp feel amongst the warm and spicy cardamom top note. The fragrance settles into a sophisticated heart of lavender, clary sage and geranium. These notes create a fresh herbaceous feel that can only be detected with a deep inhale of the scent at first, but they build as the fragrance settles. The result? A scent that’s like a breath of fresh air in a forest. This fragrance is just as boring, bland and generic as the "socially acceptable" people in the advert. Where are they, what are they doing, do they even know each other, there's zero chemistry there. Just a collection of what the photographer thought "Cool People" should look like. The photo has zero chemistry and the fragrance mirrors the magnificent shallowness of the advertisement.

Will it get you noticed? Probably not, although projection and longevity are on par with other parfum strength designers.It can be wear everyday, but I would prefers leans a bit more night. Is this my first choice for formal event, no. Casual night maybe. The fragrance has a versatile aroma that could be adapted to any time of the year, for any situation, as it is pleasant and masculine, easy to like, characteristics of fragrances that are now classified as "blues". I'll be sure to post more later today or tomorrow, with my updated opinion after re-applying it at lunch and making it through the rest of the work day.

Ralph Lauren use high quality ingredients and oil-based notes to increase the intensity of their scent. L’oreal must drop some note off as If this follows the note breakdown it must be something more aromatic-woody. It's not super unique, but it's complex, refined, and smells *really* good--soft but masculine and vaguely mysterious. Whenever I smell it I think of Batman for some reason. It's a *great* scent. Not to say RCP turns out to be anything unique in the overcrowded world of blue fragrances designed for maximum appeal, as BdC, Sauvage, Y EDP/Parfum and a thousand Invictus Aqua clones have already stripped that goldmine for all it’s worth. Ralph Lauren is late to the game here, without a doubt. This reflects more like the new blue.. it’s more greenish blue. Blue in earthly, herbal accord which quit new in the market.

The community seems to rate this one horribly out of spite because some of the hardcore fragheads on YouTube got mad it wasn't what they EXPECTED from the release. Thats what I hear in almost every single critique; they EXPECTED something more grown up and uniquely sophisticated, instead they got a really nice blue fragrance (lol). Seems everyone else in the hivemind just followed suit. The ad shows a few young and good looking individuals who look like being dressed up and hanging out in a high end club in New York city. I don't see the connection between that image and this scent. The scent is inoffensive and pleasant; and I consider it pretty versatile in terms of style or season." Ralph Lauren is an iconic designer known for defining American style through his mens and womens fashions, home furnishings, accessories and fragrances. The world of Ralph Lauren conveys a timeless luxury lifestyle with an enduring spirit of success, style and a sense of togetherness. I hear/read a lot of comments saying it's boring and not that great, but I really disagree with that. I think it's unique and very well balanced. It may be the kind of fragrance that eventually might SEEM boring if everyone started wearing it, like with Y by YSL, which is another one that I think smells great but is considered boring because it's worn by so many people (and to disagree yet another time, this smells nothing like Y, which is another reason to use that as an example). In other words it could be that type of "likable" frag that is hard to offend, a "people pleaser" if you will.. But that doesn't automatically make it boring in my opinion.
