Description

In 1938, Makita became a limited company under the name of “Makita Electric Works Ltd” and later relocated to Anjo City, Japan in 1945, which is where the company’s headquarters is currently located. The DCW180 is built tough and can be used as a seat and has twin cup holders to help prevent any valuable spillage.

During this time, Makita’s business activities included selling and repairing electric tools and equipment which primarily included lighting equipment, motors and transformers. It can also operate using a DC cord from a vehicle using either 12V or 24V, or corded AC for a variety of power options. Impressive runtimes with two 5Ah batteries are 14 hours at 5 degrees, 4 hours at -18 degrees and 4 hours at +60 degrees and can be further increased by utilising mains and automotive power before going cordless.Nothing contained on this Makita® site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark displayed on this site without the written permission of Makita or such third party that owns the trademark.

In 1958, the company diversified its expertise and began manufacturing electric power tools - which included a portable electric planer - Makita’s first power tool - which was later followed by many more tools from a portable groove cutter to an electric circular saw and electric drill. It operates using one 18V LXT® battery with the option to insert one additional battery for extended run time. It offers users portable convenience with the option of operating in either cooling mode or warming mode with six settings from 15° all the way to 140°.Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. As you would expect, Makita 18v LXT batteries power the DCW180Z, and although just one is required, there are twin battery slots to double runtime.

Makita is a world leading Japanese tool manufacturer that originated in 1915 under the name “Makita Denski Seisakusho” in Nagoya City, the capital of Japan’s Aichi Prefecture. When set at 5°C (normal fridge temperature) the cooler will run for up to 28 hours with 2x 40V Max 5. Following this, during the 1980s, Makita more intensely adopted mass production and expanded its factory operations.

Large wheels allow the Cooler/Warmer to be transported over a wide variety of surfaces making it an ideal choice for use on the job site or when enjoying outdoor activities. Other features include a fold away carry handle and wheels to transport the box, internal light to make sure you don't grab the alcohol-free option by mistake and a built-in bottle opener. Since then, the company has become one of the largest power tool suppliers in the world and an industry leader in innovative power tool technology. Toolden Limited trading as Toolden is a credit broker, not a lender and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 654671 ).Whether you are working as a tradesman or builder in the construction industry, or require a versatile and portable power tool brand for use in the home, Makita’s power tools are developed and tested to the highest of standards. The DCW180Z has a generous 20-litre capacity, enough for 30 standard cans, a sealed and insulated lid and the battery compartment has a USB socket to keep your devices topped up and storage for the power leads and carry strap. Whether you're at the beach, in the park or on the jobsite the CW001 is a must have for your next adventure.
