I found that this third book was written very well and was well-balanced, indicative of the ‘grown-up’ Zara who features in this book, compared with the other two books in the series. The result is a story that resonates deeply, eliciting laughter, empathy, and a renewed appreciation for life’s twists and turns. The 30th year old main character is wondering if she made the right choice with the guy she picked after he got engaged and flys to Milan on the eve of his engagement party to have it out with him. Established in 2011 and based in Edinburgh, Polaris Publishing Ltd are immensely proud to publish award-winning works by world-class authors. At a young age, she found herself writing funny stories or poems to friends and family for special occasions, and after high school she undertook a performing arts diploma, flourishing in her creative writing class.

Biography: Sophie grew up in a town just outside Glasgow and has always had a love for the English language. She is single and joins an online dating site to find Mr right- however, her life suddenly spirals out of control. What sets Meet Me in Milan apart is Sophie's remarkable ability to blend humor and vulnerability, capturing the essence of life's intricacies [. The characters were all so terribly loud, and I felt like they were constantly yelling because of all the goddamn exclamaitionmarks. Sophie's clever narrative strikes a balance between hilarity and poignancy, ensuring that even the most comedic moments carry layers of emotional authenticity.I love the ending of Zara and Tom, I was constantly wondering throughout the book where it would end, would Zara finally be happy with Tom or would she find another man in Milan? It's been a while since we updated some of our city guides, in that time the world has changed a lot. Love, love, loved Sophies' third book of Zara's Smiths escapades of life, love, lust, loave, and loneliness. Her storytelling is completely gripping, her characters enjoyable, and her awkward scenarios induce just the right amount of toe-curling cringe.

There's no freezing out the creases of some of the biggest mistakes made in these chapters, but if you have to go down, you may as well go down laughing and the third series certainly brought plenty of that. I couldn’t put Sophie’s book down, I read the trilogy over 3 days and honestly I’ve never laughed so much at a book. The plot went from bad to worse, like what the hell was that moment when she hooked up with the guard at the engagement party? Sofia Gravia is a total genius, and I won't hear anything otherwise (maybe I'm slightly biased since she's a Glaswegian like myself). In 2020, Sophie started writing again as a distraction from the ongoing pandemic, cheered on by fans of her hilarious blog, ‘Sex in the Glasgow City’.I have since created a Zara Smith Cocktail, you can check it out via CC Cocktails on Facebook or Instagram. I hadn’t read the previous two books , other reviewers mentioned humour , I saw little of that in this book. She isn't planning to go until she finds an old note from Tom that shows their feelings for each other were once mutual. I also didn’t get any idea why Zara has any friends at all ;she may be presented as zany but has the morals of an alley cat and from her shallow slovenly behaviour appears not to fully appreciate her long suffering friends . I didn’t expect the book to be about her sex life complete with explicit detail or the crude language which spiralled into vulgarity .

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. After another big life change, she finds a note from her former flame in an old jacket pocket and boom, her world is shaken. Thank you Sophie for providing this lighthearted, relatable series laced some Glasgow humour - it’s been a real joy to read.

A Glasgow Kiss , her debut novel, shot straight to number one in the erotic charts and has been a word-of-mouth sensation ever since. Zara did annoy me slightly in this book, I felt she went off the rails and was quite childish with some of her actions but in the end, I think that is Zara to an extent. There is no depth to the characters, the main character is a super annoying, spoiled girl showing a terrible example to everyone who reads this book.
