Are you going to tell us about all of them in once upon a crime, or the ministry of unladylike activity? I quite enjoyed this story though. The plot might have been simple, but if someone has never read a Daisy and Hazel story before they will get a great impression of what's waiting for them in the novels and how good those two girls actually are. Death Sets Sail is amazing! I hope Hazel and Daisy are mentioned in The Ministry Of Unladylike Activity! I LOVED DEATH SETS SAIL! I don’t even know where to start. I thought the title and cover design/colours tied in perfectly with the book and the fact that it was the end. I thought the murder itself was very clever, and clearly a lot of planning went into it. Even though I was expecting Daisy’s ‘death’, I still felt really emotional because of Hazel’s grief and how the Detective Society would never be the same again. As soon as I saw the ‘vice’ bit crossed out at the start of the book, I just started going ‘oh no!’ because it just made me so sad that this series was coming to an end. I really enjoyed Daisy and Amina having their first kiss, Hazel’s agony in the lead up to kissing Alexander, and the unexpectedly perfect pairing of Lavinia and George! I have always found the books a very diverse series, and I think it’s great that you can include characters who are not white and British, and who are LGBT+, because even though there was less tolerance for it at the time of the books, it is a true reflection of real life, and people should be able to see themselves in books, and be assisted in their own life by characters like Hazel and Daisy. It was heartwarming to learn that Daisy was my really dead, and the Detective Society was not completely ending, just hitting pause!

Title reveal - the second Ministry book will be called The

Two young would-be detectives, Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells, form a Detective Society and find themselves investigating a variety of crimes in a variety of locations. Robin is now a full-time author who lives in Oxford with her husband and her pet bearded dragon, Watson. She is the author of the bestselling, awardwinning Murder Most Unladylike series and The Guggenheim Mystery.Congratualtions on an amazing wonderful book to read which makes me laugh and feel sad!! you are the best author ever!! I love how you did about the sleepwalking. A bit through the case nearing the end when they had a discussion and ruled Heppy out I was a bit like omg… I am not stupid after all… I am a good detective… How do they know heppy was sleepwalking. I think the fact that even though it’s set in the past but there are still not all British girls who like boys is really important. Because there are daisys, hazels, Alexanders, and George’s and i think that’s very good in children’s books. Everyone presumes that she drowned accidentally - but how could such a famous swimmer have struggled to swim? This book is like ” The Big Four” by Christie! I hope we see Daisy and Hazel in the future! I live how we get to see May…..even though Daisy and Hazel are the OG?? I loved the book!!! Thank you soo much Ms Stevens!! P.S. There is a secret message hidden in this comment. Once you have worked it out, put it in front of ‘It’s not the end…’ and you will have a mini poem! HINT: It’s the same code that was used by Amina in Amina’s Guide to Egypt, at the end of the book!

Thank you for making the Best series of books in the world and it’s been a delight to read all of them. DaisY and Hazel have becomE part of Me and part of mY life as I went along. From the muRder of Miss Bell to Elizabeth Hurst’s death, they’ve all been amazing. I don’t want to say goodbyE to them so I’m really happy to kNow that they will be mentioneD in MOUA along with May Wong starring in it! Hey!! what was aminas coded message? It was quite hard to see as I listend to it on audible i didnt read it!! love to know!! Hi Robin Stevens, I just saw this spoiler post (well, my cousin sent me a link to it actually) and I thought OMG i need to look at this!! I think the fact I am writing this at 1:20 in the morning after finishing the novel is probably the best way of expressing how much I loved it.

I agree I am not sure if daisy is dead or if she is actually alive but apart from that it is one of my favourites but I think my favourite is probably jolly foul play. But it’s so hard to choose!

My heart was beating fast. This felt very much like the beginning of an excellent murder investigation.’ And personally, I think the spoiler alert and “rules” (which, incidentally are merely guidelines since they cannot be enforced), are more likely to encourage the temptation than help resist it.At the end when Hazel believed Daisy dead, I am ever so glad that you put in the kiss between Alexander and Hazel, it was the moment that we had been waiting for ever since mistletoe and murder, it was like Alexander was reaching out to protect her from the sorrow of her lost by finally kissing her, a thing that he and she had been longing to do for an awful lot of time! After I already bought this booklet I discovered that this story was also included in the collection published after the last book, but well, no harm done. Now I could at least easily read the story after finishing the 8th book!

I often get this feeling where I almost seem to choke with happiness. This happened about five times in this book – which is probably a record! Same! May is brilliant, I love her character so much. She honestly reminds me a tiny bit of myself, so I’m super exited for her to be a main character in the Ministry of Unladylike Activity! I just wanted to say thank you, thank you so, so, so much! For being my favourite author of all time! I have showed the books to my friends who also enjoy them, and me and my cousin are probably the biggest murder most unladylike fans YOU WILL EVER MEET! This series has meant a lot to me, and been with me for just under half my life. I’ve grown up with Daisy and Hazel and they have a place in my head, even though it’s probably a very different sort of place to the one they have in yours and all other readers. I’m not sure if DSS is my absolute favourite in the series, but it’s certainly up there as one of them. I just finished DSS, and it was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t put it down for a second. To be honest, I actually wasn’t that sad at the end, because I had a feeling that Daisy would have survived. i guess I couldn’t quite believe the idea of her being dead. I almost cried when I read the first chapter, though. It was awful to see everyone so upset!I’ve been reading these since the first came out in 2014 and, as cheesy as it sounds, it’s like I’ve grown up with them. I’m about to go into my last year of A-Levels; it’s fitting that one of my favourite childhood stories finishes just as I turn into an adult. I’m planning on doing an English Literature and Creative Writing course. I loved this book! I loved all the twists and how the Heppy was so clever. My favourite character was May because she’s just as good as the Detective Society at only six years old! The book itself was beautiful and I spent five minutes just looking at it. Hi Robin Stevens I just saw this spoiler post (my cousin actually sent me a link to it 🙏) and I thought – WOW i need comment on this! 🤩
