Synopsis: We test 21 brands of wax to see which ones are best for furniture makers. Mark Schofield used the waxes to get a moderate sheen on cherry test boards finished with a washcoat of shellac and three coats of wiped-on polyurethane. Add sufficient boiling water to cover all the pieces and leave for five minutes.... then just rinse in warm soapy water, and as you wipe each piece dry, you'll see it shine like new.

Add hot water so as to cover the items and leave for 5 minutes. Remove items and wash in soapy water and dry. The items will now be free of all tarnish.
