Medical grade cyanoacrylate topical skin adhesive is used effectively for closing wounds, termed liquid bandaging. This product offers excellent bonding characteristics to a large variety of substrates, including aluminium, plastics and elastomers, but also porous substrates, such as woods, chipboard and leather. Their effectiveness in bonding metal and general versatility have made them popular among modeling and miniatures hobbyists.
