He was glaring in the direction of his house, but he didn’t immediately move toward it. It was hard to believe the guy could be Owen’s twin, as the two of them couldn’t have been more different. chatting about cheerleading, but I knew I needed to tell Mom the truth about my car. I squared my shoulders, knowing it was now or never. And never wasn’t really an option because I desperately wanted my car to get fixed.

the thing i loved the most in this book was the relationship between all of the characters !! like hayley/isa, ethan/isa, isa/madi, madi/hayley… well everyone I couldn’t believe I was lying to a police officer, but I couldn’t exactly tell him the truth. My favorite song had come on the radio, and I’d stopped the car so I could belt out the lyrics and give the song the tribute it deserved. It’s not like there were any other cars around, and you just can’t sing Taylor Swift and drive at the same time. Especially not when you’re also dancing in your seat. If I could rewrite the rules of the road, that would be the first thing all new drivers would learn—don’t dance and drive; stop and sing. Unfortunately, I didn’t think Sheriff Daniels would agree.

He’d put on a heap of muscle since I’d last seen him, and it seemed like he’d gotten even hotter—if that was possible. Had it really only been a few months since his last visit home? Because the amount of bulk he’d acquired in that time just couldn’t be humanly possible. Now, keep in mind this is a TEEN novel. I really loved both the main characters Hayley and Ethan. Hayley was definitely feisty and original. She reminded me of how I was in high school. Ethan was really sweet and I enjoyed seeing the outside perspective looking in. This was a really good book all in all that was both clean and had a sweet ending. Don't get me wrong tho, I'm obsessed with both of those things too so I like her, she never thought of herself like she was different (expect when she thought she wasn't rude like some of the other cheerleaders which is fine cause its true) so it's probably just the author's fault, the way she was describing her. Hayley has her eyes set on the popular twin next door, Owen, for her prom date. Her promposal doesn’t quite go as planned and ends up in a fake relationship with Owen’s nerdy and muso twin brother, Ethan. Their secret operation is to make Owen notice Hayley and hopefully end up asking her to prom. Little does Hayley know that Ethan has been crushing on her for years and is glad of the opportunity to spend more time with her, even if it is a fake relationship.

I'M A GONER FOR ETHAN. It was a nice book, a cute read but just not the type of book I usually read and prefer which is probably why I didn't like it that much and why I gave it a 3.45 .
