Description

The Kodak PixPro AZ405 is a photo camera that is designed to capture high-quality images. It features a powerful zoom lens that allows for detailed close-ups and wide-angle shots. With its 40x optical zoom, it can get you closer to the subject without losing clarity. Flash Modes Auto, Red-Eye Reduction, Fill Flash, Force Off, Slow Synchro, Red-Eye Reduction + Slow Synchro The Kodak PixPro AZ405 offers various shooting modes and creative filters, allowing you to explore your photography skills and capture unique images. It also has a built-in flash for low-light situations, and a self-timer for capturing group photos or selfies. Battery life here is sufficient for a modest 200 photos, or an hour-and-a-half of Full HD video at 30fps before recharging is required. Just like any ‘old school’ point and shoot, we get sundry subject pre-optimized scene modes and the ability to press a button to achieve macro photography – here as close as 5cm from our subject. Introducing the Kodak PIXPRO FZ45 16MP 4x Zoom Compact Camera. Compact, intuitive and oh so easy to use, the FZ45 is the perfect camera to take anywhere you go. One-touch video, red-eye removal, face detection and convenient AA batteries are just the start. Kodak PIXPRO Digital Cameras - Tell your story.EXPOSURE METERING METHOD Artificial Intelligence AE (AiAE), Center-Weighted Average, Spot (Fixed to Center of Frame), Face AE The top plate of this Kodak features an equally familiar shooting mode dial, which is slightly loose without being off-putting-ly so, next to which is an on/off slider switch. We find the obvious raised shutter release button located at the top of the camera’s handgrip meanwhile, encircled via a lever for ergonomically adjusting the zoom. Everything here feels intuitive, with controls and adjustment levers falling readily to hand – which is just what we want. This allows us to completely – and literally – focus on whatever subject is in front of our lens, rather than being distracted by the workings and operation of the AZ425 itself. Anyone using this camera for the first time shouldn’t find operation daunting. Performance We’ve aimed to cover the whole lot in this guide, so we’ve got quite a few sections. First, we have digital bridges and compact cameras. These are the kind of digital cameras that were very popular before the advent of the smartphone, and now most of the major manufacturers have all but abandoned them. Kodak licensee JK Imaging clearly thinks that has left a gap in the market.

RECORDING MEDIA Internal Memory: Approx. 63MB SD/SDHC/SDXC Card, Class 10 Card or Better (Up to 512GB Support) [MMC Card Not Supported] Although there is a ridged ring located around the lens barrel, which one might expect may provide an alternative means of adjusting the focal length, or manually focusing, this is just for show, as it’s fixed solidly in place and doesn’t rotate. What can be manually activated here, however, is the pop-up flash that sits directly above the lens, the hood for which also houses stereo microphones. We also get a program, aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual modes alongside auto, for any photographer who does want to get a little more hands-on.Install the PIXPRO FREE desktop software to your computer for editing and enhancing your 360° videos taken with your PIXPRO SP360 Action Camera. The lens has a minimum focal length of 24 millimeters and a maximum focal length of 1248 millimeters. It has a minimum aperture number of 2.8 and a maximum aperture number of 5.6, making it suitable for different photography styles and scenarios. Additionally, it has a video recording feature that can capture full HD (1080p) videos at 30 frames per second. Install the PIXPRO FREE Stitch software to your computer, you can effortlessly join the video from two SP360's/SP360 4K’s and create a fully immersive VR video. SCN MODES ASCN, Landscape, Sport, Beach, Sunset, Fireworks, Night Landscape, Snow, Children, Portrait, Party, Night Portrait, Pet, Imaging Stabilizaton Options here include the 65x optical zoom Kodak AZ652 and, gulp, 90x Kodak AZ901 models, if the frankly massive 52x optical zoom focal range offered by this camera still doesn’t quite cut it. The reason we used the slightly tortured construction of ‘lending its name’ in the previous paragraph is because, of course, Kodak doesn’t actually make many of these cameras. The brand makes a habit of licensing its name to other firms, and it’s these companies that make and sell the cameras with the Kodak seal of approval. As such, there’s quite a bit of variety in the range. SHOOTING CAPABILITY Approx. 120 Shots of AA Alkaline Battery (Based on CIPA Standards) Approx. 1h for Video (@1080/30fps)Though we weren’t expecting to be blown away by the image quality from this camera, in not expecting much we were pleasantly surprised. Colors are as bright and as rich as one would hope and expect of any product associated with the Kodak brand, and there’s a pleasing degree of detail in the snapshots. With the majority of camera manufacturers now focusing on much higher priced and more sophisticated interchangeable lens cameras of interest to the photo enthusiast, perhaps the best we can say is that the casual photographer who has otherwise been left to their smartphone now has a user-friendly alternative.
