The slightly more compression and slightly reduced lower mids result in slightly greater transparency. Well done. The Lady Lies ( Archive 2 - 6 May and as a green-transparent 7" flexydisc supplement of Flexypop magazine, 7 May) The album marks the first release of the band's 1980 Lyceum Theatre (which includes the entire "Duke Suite") and 1987 Wembley Stadium concerts in an audio-only format. Both concerts previously received releases in video formats, with the latter concert being included in The Movie Box 1981–2007. Additionally, it includes the first officially released live performances from Ray Wilson's tenure with the band. Album – Classifica settimanale WK 10 (dal 03.03.2023 al 09.03.2023)" (in Italian). Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana . Retrieved 11 March 2023. The oldest radio live recording is more cleanly balanced compared to the BBC version, but the slight mains hum has not been removed. Also a bit more compressed and about 4.5 dB louder. Genesis are one of the world’s biggest selling and most successful bands of all time. They have sold an estimated 100 million albums and have played to sold-out stadiums and arenas all over the world for decades, most recently with their global sold-out The Last Domino? Tour which concluded with a three-night run at London’s O2 Arena on March 22, 2022.

Another one from the Genesis/BBC live archives in which we pose a question that’s been bubbling around a while now: Is there a definitive Genesis live album? and indeed, have Genesis been done justice in their live releases? There have been plenty through the years. Matrix / Runout (Disc 2): [Universal logo] 3568645 [Universal Logo] AM84427-01 manufactured by optimal media GmbHWhy the LP set was shortened is unclear. Rounded out by material from the NEC in 1998 and Paris Theatre and Night Ride sessions from the early 70s, as well as the much sought-after encore version of “Watcher Of The Skies” at Wembley Empire Pool in 1975, Genesis BBC Broadcasts is a veritable treasure trove. Largely identical to the BBC version, but here they have removed the "dirt" below 60 Hz, but not the mains hum. By the way, Harold the Barrel is the alternative mix of this song, first broadcast in 2007. c) Sounds Of The Seventies - 09 January 1972 (Studio T1, Kensington House, Shepherd's Bush, London) Ewing, Jerry (12 January 2023). "Genesis announce five disc BBC box set featuring previously unreleased material". Loudersound . Retrieved 12 January 2023. CD edition featuring performances ranging from their 1970 lineup of Banks/Gabriel/Mayhew/Phillips/Rutherford to the 1998 tour with Ray Wilson as vocalist. It's a nice thing that Genesis are finally giving us access to their BBC archive recordings.
