Includes: Ergonomic handle, phosphor bronze brush, aluminium handle, plastic protective tube, consumable rods Proprietary bore cleaners make the process a little easier but this is not because bore cleaners can dissolve lead deposits – any chemical capable of dissolving lead you would not wish to put in your steel gun barrels. When using fibre wad ammunition, as some Sporting grounds require, he also experienced lead fouling that proved particularly difficult to remove. He tried buying 10-gauge phosphor bronze bore brushes and 10-gauge Payne Galway brushes, but he still found the process arduous and time consuming while getting filthy in the process. While techniques may vary, what we do know is that cleaning your make-up brushes is a dull yet important job. 'Product build-up on brushes can cause skin problems and infections, and can also clog up the bristles and make application really hard,' says make-up artist Mira Parmar. 'Washing your brushes regularly keeps them hygienic, ensuring they last as long as possible, and helps you to achieve flawless looks too.' The best way to clean your make-up brushes

Mike invites anyone who has cleaned their gun after shooting and put their gun away to have a run through with the Magic Bore. The owner often can’t believe the mounting pile of debris that builds up after cleaning their gun again with Magic Bore.

How is Brush Soap Different from Regular Soap?

For water-mixable oils, you can simply use water to rinse the brush. This article contains an in-depth look at cleaning up watermixable oils You shouldn’t need to use brush soap after every watercolour painting session. In fact, natural sable and squirrel brushes contain natural oils which can be stripped by frequent cleaning, particularly with regular household dish soap. When you do use brush soap, be sure to rinse it out thoroughly, as any soap product can destroy the sizing of watercolour paper. The brushes in the power version are not the same as for the hand rod, they are larger diameter (to fit lengthened 12-gauge forcing cones) and are strongly constructed

Rinse the brush to remove as much paint as you can. There are several things you can use to rinse your oil brushes:A drying oil like linseed oil or safflower oil. This is also a good way to rinse brushes during a painting session, as the oil in the brush will not affect the painting. In under two minutes Mike gave his guns a thorough clean that had the bores (including the almost 10-bore diameter forcing cone entry) sparkling clean with Magic Bore The brushes in the power version are not the same as for the hand rod, they are larger diameter (to fit lengthened 12-gauge forcing cones) and are strongly constructed. Gunmakers have been the most inventive of people, developing new products in an effort to give us better performance, reliability and more choice. But ingenuity is not confined to gunsmiths, some shooters take the time and make the effort to develop new products to meet our needs.

To get the best results from your makeup brush cleaner, take a few tips from the pros. When rinsing your brushes, be sure to hold them downwards to avoid water seeping into the ferrule (the metal section at the base of the bristles). If this section becomes damp, you might end up with shedding strands. Once your brush is thoroughly cleansed, gently squeeze out excess moisture with a clean towel, before re-forming the bristles into their original shape and letting them air-dry – the best approach is to leave them hanging off the edge of a counter. Some pigments might stain your brush even after thorough cleaning, but this doesn’t affect how the brush can be used. The double-sided brush easily removes pet hair and lint from furniture, pillows, clothes, pet beds and car seats In under two minutes Mike gave it a thorough clean that had the bores (including the almost 10-bore diameter forcing cone entry) sparkling clean. He did this by first using the standard hand kit followed by the shorter version, designed especially for over-bored guns, powered by any DIY electric drill with a slow speed option. Ask a room of beauty editors whether they clean their make-up brushes every month and, of course, you’ll hear nothing but a resounding 'yes'. (Some of us might be lying, but we'll never admit it.) Ask us how we clean their favourite tools, however, and you’ll likely receive a bunch of different responses.Oil painting brushes can be synthetic or made with natural hair, often hog hair. Here is a method that we recommend: Watercolour brushes are most commonly made from synthetic, sable or squirrel hair. Because they are so soft they require more delicate handling, particularly natural sable and squirrel brushes. The standard Magic Bore brush rod is long, strong, with a substantial and sturdy (removable) handle which is knurled for easy gripping. The full length of the two-part rod is covered with a special micro-fibre sheath, from handle end to brush, which also aids cleaning and polishing and removes the debris that the brushes remove. This sheath is replaceable after considerable use.

Remove Fur Magic brush from base and swipe in the direction indicated by the arrow on the brush to remove pet fur and lint. The Magic Bore kit may initially look like a GT version of a standard cleaning kit but there is much more too it than meets the eye. The key to how it works is the brush. This is larger in diameter than a standard 12-gauge brush but the material used, and the way the brushes are wound in manufacture, enable the phosphor bronze brush to have its direction reversed within the bore and not become flattened along one edge. Bristle Magic is a cleaner and brush conditioner that cleans oil and acrylic paints from paintbrushes. You will love that even dried-on paints can be removed with Bristle Magic. Bristle Magic is a concentrated product . For oil painters, we recommend using Bristle Magic full strength. For acrylic painters, we recommend diluting with water to the strength needed, depending on how long your brushes have been left with paint on them. When mixed with water, Bristle Magic turns into a cream colored solution. That's OK!Watercolour brushes can be thoroughly cleaned by removing excess watercolour or gouache with a cloth before rinsing in a jar of water. As with other mediums, blot the brush and rinse until there is no more colour coming out of the brush. Bristle Magic contains no hazardous, toxic, abrasive or caustic chemicals. It also has no noxious fumes and is a very low VOC product. Magic Bore still relies on phosphor bronze brushes but their design, construction, materials and dimensions have all been rigorously tested
