Bros continued as a duo, with Matt Goss and Luke Goss continuing with the sold-out Push Global Tour, where the band played to over 3 million fans in Australia, Denmark, Germany, France, Japan, Norway and the UK. The group were noticed by Bob Herbert, who had ambitions to break into the music business as a manager – Herbert's son Chris was a classmate of the trio at Collingwood. Herbert allowed the group to practise in his summer house and paid for them to record demos, but he was unable to sign them to a contract as they were under 18 years old. [7]

D uring this period Matt and Luke were unaware of how bad Craig condition was, with Craig refusing calls and Tom Watkin keeping information from both the Goss brothers. "It's a phrase I use a lot in my poetry ... because I think inherently we have been programmed to actually fear tomorrow and ... the years ahead ... I just want to live in a place where the unknown is a beautiful thing." [13] Goss said he had no interest in making music or singing again, due to his rigorous schedule performing in the United States. [14] However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, Goss had a chance to reset and record again. "So it was quite an extraordinary thing, ironically, the connection that I found talking about much deeper issues, was the reason I actually ended up wanting to make a new record, and realising there were indeed people that wanted me to keep going." [14] Goss stated he felt excited for the release of the album with the hope that the music industry takes notice of his efforts. "I want to compete with Ed Sheeran, I want to compete with The Weeknd, I want to compete with Robbie Williams...everyone. I made this record knowing 100% that we can do that. I want to be one of the main players. No-one can say this isn't a contemporary record."
