Delighted with these binoculars! I’m new to birdwatching so wanted something straightforward to use and these fit the bill perfectly. Lovely clear image and nice and light so great if you’re on a long walk.

Came across Avalon and decided to go for it. Great price. Next day delivery. Was thinking about getting the 10×40 but decided to go for lighter and more compact. Excellent choice. I’m really pleased with them. They come with a case, strap and lens cleaner, all good quality. Perfect for bird watching and taking away on holiday/days out. Would highly recommend. I was surprised to find that I am not at all happy with these binoculars. Yes, they can be adjusted to give a lovely clear sharp image for both eyes, but the problem is that for any change of the central focussing wheel, I have also to reset the individual right eye focus. All other binoculars allow me to set the right eye once, then only have to adjust the centre wheel for different distances and both eyes stay sharp. Is this a manufacturing defect, or are they all like this? Very pleased with the Binoculars. Great optics and sharp clear images. I wear glasses so even without them clear lovely images. As you mentioned, the best way to go around this is to test if the issue is the lower magnification or the quality of the optics. If you are using binoculars that have extremely high magnification such as 16x or more, you will need a tripod to help you gain a steady image. Also, do not buy the inexpensive binoculars that have a high magnification – they are significantly inferior in image quality, clarity and durability. Cheap, high magnification binoculars often produce distorted images.

Close the mini rather than mid-size and glad I did. They are not teeny but small and neat, very nice looking and great optical quality. I gave these as a gift to my daughter who was delighted and I am very pleased with my choice. However, if you have astigmatism, then you must wear your glasses. The binoculars will not adjust your vision. The bird watching binoculars recommended at the end of this guide are suitable for use either with or without eyeglasses. They all have a long enough eye relief as well as twist down eyecups. These allow you to adjust the binoculars for use with glasses on. Fog and Waterproofing These binoculars are lightweight, yet have a really good magnification and image quality. I am very happy with them, they fit easily into my bag, don’t get too heavy when using them for longer periods and the images are lovely and clear. Excellent value for money. When you are using a slightly higher magnification, such as with 10x binoculars, you will be able to take in more details. This is very practical when you want to look at different types of wildlife. Slower moving birds will usually be in an open environment, which will not be hard to see even when your binoculars have a narrower field of view.Not only will this seal stop moisture from getting inside, but it will also deter dust and other debris from getting onto the lens and messing up your vision. Also, try to get binoculars that are either Nitrogen or Argon purged. This simply means that the inside air has been substituted with dry gas and will not fog up on the inside. Proper waterproofing will protect your binoculars from corrosion. Bought these for my son/granddaughter as they both love exploring . Really impressive little binoculars. Bought another pair for my wife and I. Really easy to set up and use, very bright image. Clever use of strap to secure lens covers. Very pleased and impressed. Was trying out a friends Avalon binoculars whilst on holiday recently and realised how rubbish my own binoculars were compared.

Bought for our 8 year old grandson who is obsessed with nature and the outdoors and is totally over the moon with the binoculars. They work great and we especially appreciate how lightweight they are and easy to carry. Only problem, referenced in another review as well, is case is too small to easily get binoculars and strap in. Should consider slight increase if possible.
