Son of the titan Lapetos and brother of Promethus, the titan Atlas was king of Arcadia. Atlas led the titans against the war of the gods and was defeated by the power of the Blade of Olympus. In the game, God of War: Chains of Olympus, it would later be revealed that upon his defeat Atlas was chained to a wall in Tartarus, the deepest part in the underworld until he was freed by Persephone who was forced to be the wife of Hades. Persephone had him destroy the pillar that holds up the world, but she was defeated by Kratos before the plan was finished. Because the pillar was incredibly damaged by the time the battle was over, Atlas was further punished by the gods to take its place holding up the entire world on his shoulders. Bosses Perseus

Head of Euryale: The severed head of Euryale, which can be used to turn enemies to stone (similar to the Medusa's Gaze from the first game, however, the Head of Euryale is powerful enough to turn other Gorgons to stone). Kratos has become the new god of war and is still tormented by his old memories. Many characters return from 2018, alongside newcomers such as the All-Father Odin and his son Thor, but it remains focused on the adventures of Kratos and Atreus with a greater emphasis on the latter, who explores his newly discovered identities and powers.
