It's meant for middle school age kids, or younger... I thought maybe a bit too scary? I kept thinking to myself, what father would send their kid to this escape room for their birthday, without knowing more about it??? Wth?? That's putting it mildly! I was fortunate to be part of the blog tour for The Escape Room. Thanks to St. Martin's Press for an advance copy of the book in exchange for an unbiased review! Find the Answer. Save the world. I love the idea of escape rooms, a group of people working together to find clues that will enable them to solve a series of puzzles. Ami loves solving puzzles and is excited by the challenge The Escape presents. Cleo- Same thing with Miles we should've gotten so much more of this character. She was by far the most intriguing yet got so little time despite being such an important role in the story. I'm so bitter over not getting any more of her character because I loved hearing about her and getting a look into her head.

It’s a great mash-up of Exam, Interview and Unknown movies which are good thrillers in one location and the twisted final reminded me of Netflix famous Spanish series “ La Casa De Papel”

This book contains so much despicable, ruthless, nasty, notorious characters, shapeless products from the intercourse Hitler and R. Kelly kind of evil ( evil looks like Tinkerball when you compare him with those in humans) characters. Finally - I held my breath during this book. I was angry during this book. I yelled at this book. I shook my fist at this book in frustration. I grinned in triumph when characters got what they deserved. In other words, this book got me super invested and that is ALWAYS a good thing! During the book you, as a reader, get hints. Some of the hints are hidden and you understand them when you finished the book.

Armchair Detective Skills: I was pretty much stumped until around the 70% mark and then things started to come together for me. The feeling was wholly satisfying. Note: I received e-copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. Many thanks to PRHGlobal for free copy. ***The book alternates between two scenarios. The first is told from the perspective of Sara Hall, a recent MBA grad looking to make her mark in the world of investment banking. The second follows the four bankers who end up in an escape room as some sort of team building exercise. But this isn’t your standard escape room. Their goal is to make it out alive. UK Only. Despatched by Royal Mail first class post on the same day. Excludes Weekends & Bank Holidays.
