This isn’t about performing or the limelight, but instead about the behind-the-scenes work of crafting music, and I enjoyed seeing that. This was extremely slow burn where they only accepted their feelings for each other so far down the book. The side characters and all the dialogues are quirky and funny more often than not and there are just as many laughs as awwww-moments, so in all a very satisfying read.Bryce Oakley is great at writing witty banter and I always find myself smiling a lot when I read her work.
