I got the Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser as a product within the Cosmetips x Isabel Bedoya Beauty Box, and I was excited to try it, as I had enjoyed every Murad skincare product I’d tried. Murad designed this prebiotic infused cleanser to be used both on wet or dry skin. Having tried both methods, I much prefer the emulsifying effect when massaged into wet skin. I wanted to love it but really didn’t I really wanted to love this but I didn’t even like it. I had heard good things but it just didn’t do it for me. It didn’t foam up , it wasn’t super silky on my skin (would need to use a lot of product) didn’t “melt away” my make up.. I just was so disappointed. My skin felt “clean” after using it but I really didn’t feel that I’d washed my face. I was paranoid that the product hadn’t worked enough and I’d left some leftover dirt on my skin. I actually got some breakouts across my skin so I really didn’t think it had fully cleaned my skin. Tashie Good for combination skin Having combination skin makes it hard to buy products especially for my face but I really like to use this one. I don’t tend to use it religiously but it is very useful at taking off make up!!! People may benefit from using it often but for me having combination skin I find it is most effective when I am having an, ‘oily’ day. Definitely worth the money. But the fact the cleanser can be used on dry skin, with a cotton pad, makes it handy if you’re travelling, or for times you might not have easy access to a sink with running water – like camping, or if you’re in hospital. I’ve tried a few Murad skincare products over the years, but the Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser wasn’t a product that was ever on my radar, nor had I ever read a review on it either.Whilst it is lovely and gentle, it’s still a very effective cleanser, and melts away makeup with very little effort; even the more stubborn mascara formulas. If you have dry and or sensitive skin, you’d love this cleanser, and it makes me want to try the Prebiotic 3-in-1 MultiMist next.
