The results are stunning for such a small MP camera , get the focus distance right and you'll be happy with your result. The Oppo Find X3 Neo is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset from Qualcomm, which don't forget was the flagship CPU for Android phones last year (at least until the 865 Plus showed up). In other words, the processor might be a year old, but it's still one of the best in the business, and everything speeds along very nicely on this phone.

We've grown to appreciate Oppo's relentless drive for breaking the mold and introducing unorthodox innovations - be it a swivel or a pop-up camera, geometry-inspired panels, the VOOC fast charging, or even soccer-themed phones. When it comes to video, the Oppo Find X3 Pro can record at 4K resolution at 60fps with optical and electronic image stabilisation enabled. Unlike the S21 Ultra, there’s no 8K video option, although I’m willing to bet that you don’t already own an expensive 8K TV or monitor, so this feature is pretty much redundant anyway. Oppo Find X3 Pro review: Verdict

Ultra-wide-angle Camera: Sony IMX 766 sensor, 1/1.56" sensor size, f/2.2 aperture, Native 110.3° Field of View, All Pixel Omni-directional PDAF Why, then, should you spend the same amount of money on a relatively obscure flagship, instead of anything from the usual lineup of big hitters? Well, to begin with, the Find X3 Pro is just as well-formed as anything Apple or Samsung can currently muster. Despite oppo’s claims, the Find X3 Pro isn’t the best in the stamina department. Playing a looped video at 170cd/m² brightness and switching off all data connections, the Find X3 Pro lasted 17hrs 11mins before needing a recharge, narrowly beating both the Xiaomi Mi 11 and iPhone 12 Pro, but lagging behind the S21 Ultra by almost five hours. If you do run out of juice while you’re out and about, though, the Find X3 Pro supports 65W fast charging, going from zero to full in just 35 minutes. On the front, the Find X3 Pro’s screen curves slightly around the left and right edges of the handset, with a generous screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%. A single 13MP selfie camera is sensibly positioned in a small pinhole notch in the top-left corner of the screen, and there’s an under-display fingerprint scanner at the bottom, which worked well in testing.

Wireless Charging: Starts the moment you place down any Qi-enabled device or device equipped with a Qi-compatible cover. No cables or USB interface required. Our screen protectors protect your device screen from scratches and leave no markings when removed. They do not reduce the clarity or the touch sensitivity of the screen and do not affect the in-display sensors (e.g. light and proximity sensors, or face and fingerprint scanners). This particular screen protector covers the full screen of the Oppo Find X3 Pro, with a very small area uncovered to aid with case compatibility. In the UK you can get the handset direct from Oppo and from networks including Three and EE, but there's no sign of the handset going on sale in either the US or Australia. Design

We like what Oppo has done with the rear camera on the Find X3 Pro, and the Find X3 Neo holds up well in this department too, even if the specs of the cameras have been dialed down a little. There's a quad-lens 50MP wide, a 13MP telephoto, a 16MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro rear camera here. There'a also a 32MP wide selfie camera on the front. That primary 50MP IMX766 lens is the same one as on the Pro model, custom made by Sony for Oppo, and it does an impressive job of capturing light and detail. The photos captured by the rear camera are bright, balanced and sharp, with plenty of detail showing through when you examine them closely, and natural color levels throughout. It features nanotechnology with excellent protective performance and 2.5D arc edges which are laser cut for seeming less integration to the sides and around corners.

Video capture: Rear camera: 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps; gyro-EIS; HDR, 10‑bit video; Front camera: 1080p@30fps. This wireless charger provides over voltage, under voltage, short circuit protection to ensure safety for your cell phone. Those dimensions in full are 159.9 mm x 72.5 mm x 8 mm (that's 6.3 inches x 2.9 inches x 0.3 inches), and at 184 grams the phone is just a touch lighter than the Pro. Another difference from the Pro is that there's no IP68-rated protection against water and dust – that cost cutting has to come from somewhere, after all, so you'll have to be a little more careful when carrying the phone along the beach or across the bathroom. Geekbench 5 scores of 915 in single-core, 3137 in multi-core, and 4514 in OpenCL emphasize the power under the hood of the Neo: unsurprisingly, those scores are similar to those from other handsets toting the Snapdragon 865, like the OnePlus 8. You're going to get a good few years of service out of this handset. Call clarity is perfect the colour OS is very well thought out with so many options to suit the individual.

In the times when we weren't using the Neo at all, the battery drained very slowly indeed: this is a good phone for lasting a long time in standby mode. Oppo itself hasn't offered an estimate of the average battery life you can get from this phone, but we don't think you're going to have any worries on this front.
