Through the heart I finally get a hint of the marigolds. They’re really used as a counterpoint and to hold the fragrance grounded. Um, now that I look properly at the notes that could be rose doing the heavy lifting, but it smells marigoldy to me. This was a blind buy which I am surprised, happy and irritated with all at the same time. Adam Levine cologne is a super cheap fragrance, but smells actually really good and has very respectable performance, especially for a fresh and fruity fragrance at this price.

The shelf life of about 4 hours, not counting light, later remains of powder, was surprisingly short for me after the brilliant and varied entry phase This projects extremely well for the first few hours and fares best in high heat I think. Something in the out-of-the-shower vibe. The bottom line, I would not strive to grab a bottle of it, but if I came across it, I would buy it as a daily refresher. On those days I don't want to think about what to wear. When I first spritz Adam Levine For Her the creamy, Samsara style of sandalwood is given the menthol Australian bent. Those top notes hardly even make an appearance other than to give the sandalwood somewhere to rest comfortable. White flowers add breadth and a very little breathiness.The first time I splashed it on , I did indeed, smell sexual skin. Was my mind deluding me? Perhaps. But this is a skin scent. I'd say it is the Indian Jasmin that's responsible for the animalic smell I was getting. There's a bit of leather going on here and Saffron is the culprit there. Adam Levine for Women is a pleasing, powdery, vanilla, sandalwood skin scent. Hours later, light sweet florals make their way in and announce themselves. The leather and florals may make an entrance, but they stay in the corner most of the time, talking to the spices.

To sun it up: Adam Levine For Her is a spicy/white floral/sandalwood/vanilla that seems to project amazingly. Don’t know why he made it for women when it’s obviously Ah May Zing on dudes as well.
