Vicky456 is right that it smells better once the juice darkens, also when it darkens it's safe to overspray - 10 sprays and I don't mind it at all, whereas in the beginning even half of that was overwhelming. Easily the best Pink Sugar flanker i personally have tried, and as strong sweet and addictive as the original; but definitely also the most divergent from the pillar. Sadly it gives me maraschino cherry instead, which is not bad per se - but not what I was hoping for at all.

The citrusy-fresh opening is similar to the classic (minus berries) but with a hint of coconut, then it immediately starts developing into that clean, sugary vanilla cotton candy on my skin. I deeply regret trying this on my skin, as I now smell like a five-year-old who bought her first body spray with her mommy's two dollars. i was hoping it'd become less pungent as the day went on, but that nasty scent is still all i can get from this multiple hours later. This is very yellow/white floral dominant with an underlying sugar/sweetness, I personally don't enjoy coconut heavy things so this was a win for me.

It’s one I don’t mind reapplying and overspraying either because it can be found relatively cheaply. I was really late to the Aquolina party so missed out on Chocolovers and Gold, Silver, Black, Blue which I would have loved to test.

I usually like gourmands and sweet fragrances, but this lacks warmth and depth (to my nose, at least).The original Pink Sugar is still a cult favourite, and this new release is just as sweet as the original but adds a hint of creamy coconut to transport us from our COVID lockdowns to the Caribbean.
