Yet had Coben not imbued his character with such a disdain for women dressed as adoration and with such a paternalistic attitude towards non-white people, The Woods would still be pretty awful for the writing, which is awkward and uninspired; worse, whenever Coben tries to say something remotely witty, it comes out sounding like this: What happened to Rhys Baldwin? Myron and Win delve deeper. They are about to shatter all, for the truth about these two young boys. One boy comes home. Where is the other? www.mystery.or.jp (in Japanese). Mystery Writers of Japan, Inc. May 11, 2023 . Retrieved May 14, 2023.

Should the past be left in the past? Is it better to know the truth? Should we learn the secrets of others? What will someone do to protect the ones that they love? The book is somewhat slow-paced at times and combines a legal thriller with family drama and secrets. There are plenty of red herrings and twists to keep readers on their toes and the ending is much different than I expected. Themes include rape, murder, family relationships and secrets, young love, threats, and much more. I know some people are like ‘you’re not keeping true to the book,' but I love that hybrid of what British crime does so well and what I do in novels,” he added. “I love making changes. A book is a book and a TV series is a TV series. They are not the same thing and they shouldn’t be. Both should be compelling stories, but the worst adaptations are the ones that are slavishly devoted to the text.” The explosive denouement to "Home" was brilliant and not one I predicted, I was constantly second guessing everything and still got it wrong. As for the twist at the end, Harlan called it just right and as a mother myself I totally 'got' the reasons behind it.Dr Sian Williams has been an anchor of some of the BBC’s biggest shows, including BBC Breakfast. During her career she's also presented Saturday Live, and most recently Life Changing on Radio 4. Ten years ago she retrained as a psychologist and will talk about how her two areas of specialism collide.

Hacía tiempo que tenía esta novela del conocido Harlan Coben en el punto de mira. Por fin le ha llegado el turno y aunque lo he disfrutado, lo cierto es que me esperaba algo más. The problem is every single twist was predictable. I could guess what would happen after when someone did something and a new evidence just revealed itself and chaged the conclusion in your head. Coben narrated his story by following the step 1 2 3 4 5, not like his previous books, Tell No One - I was very excited all the time reading that book, and it's very much different for this one. I Will Find You is an OTT thriller about a prison break, a case of mistaken identity, and a startling revelation.

Success!

I received an advance reader edition of this book from Penguin Publishing Group - Dutton via First to Read for the purpose of providing an honest review.

Much of this fell into place; but this did not matter. I was spurred on for David and Rachel to fight the good fight, turn the tables on the awful privileged rich folk and solve this heinous crime. David was a fighter who appeared to have given up, and his partner in crime Rachel was good value. I loved these characters, hated many of the others and did not have an affinity for Cheryl or the man she later married while David was in prison. I absolutely loved this book! I feel like I have been waiting for this book forever. Maybe not waiting for it...hoping for it because I didn't know if we would see any more books in the Myron Bolitar series. I have been a huge Harlan Coben fan for years and I adore everything about this series. While I was excited to sit down and read this book, I was also a bit nervous about it. Would it have the same magic as the earlier books? Would the characters have the same appeal now that they are a bit older? Can Win and Myron still solve half the world's problems? I am happy to report that the answer is yes, yes, and yes (okay that might be stretching it a bit). I won't spoil this for anyone who has not read it, but let me just say, that I devoured this book and loved every second of it. I don't recall having read a Myron Bolitar book where Win's point of view was in the first person, but I really enjoyed it and felt liked I was getting to know him more intimately. While I adore Myron, I will admit that Win is my absolute favorite character, simply because he loves Myron unconditionally. En definitiva, se trata de un thriller cargado de diálogos, buena intriga, engaños y mentiras a mansalva, además de giros interesantes hasta la última página por lo que no se hace complicado de leer. The first sip of beer on a hot day is like that first finger-dip when you open a new jar of peanut butter.”And now one of the boys had been rescued and brought home – but what state was he in mentally? Where had he been for the past ten years? And where was his friend – did he know; would he be able to give details to Win and Myron?
