They finally get together and it’s better than she could have ever imagined. Every secret moment that they steal away is something that reminds her of everything that she is missing. With every hour stealing away, she knows that it is impossible to visualize a future that does not include him.

They're both honest and eloquent when it comes to what they want and need from one another in their relationship. They've matured so much and it shows in their actions. Their love surpass anything and there aren't anything they won't do for one another. They both bravely dive into new challenges. Bristol wants and tries wholeheartedly to understand Grip and his culture. To be a part of his world. Grip uses his fame to educate himself so he can help others who are in need. They both kept surprising me and I fell more in love and in awe of them. So many different topics that our society must deal with and unfortunately at times go undealt with left behind as if ignored they can go away. The author has done an amazing job presenting these topics and not once did I feel I was being told to feel a certain way. Both pov's regarding the issues were presented. It was not one sided. Add Grip Trilogy Box Set to Goodreads: https://bit.ly/2EK9XAa Win a Limited Edition Grip Trilogy Box Set! What we also get is a look at their struggle. We know that Bristol is a powerhouse, and she is a boss babe extraordinaire in this book. Grip is finding his voice and his passion and begins to dig deeper into how he wants to impact the world. The pain that they experience in this book will pierce your heart, but the way this author weaves beauty into tragedy is breathtaking. I've followed Grip and Bristol since they were introduced in Soul, the two books about Rhyson and Kai where they were secondary characters. What a journey Grip and Bristol have been on and it concludes in this phenomenal book STILL. I was one of those who was left wanting more of Gripstol when I finished Grip, so I was pretty darn happy when Kennedy Ryan announced STILL.Grip is the continuation of Bristol and Grip story .. it is a very emotional book.. not only because Bristol and Grip have so many ups and downs, as well as so many challenges that life and people throw at them because they're an interracial couple .. they're constantly fighting so many obstacles including their families, who are against their relationship.. so many things are at stake for Bristol's mom and a few other people who are determined to separate them... Grip- WOW WOW WOW......this story blew me away. Besides being a love story, it was a story that crossed race and social issues that are alive and well in this country. It was emotional, it was heartbreaking, it was thought provoking, it was loving and it was HEALING. Stories of interracial couples have stereotypes and stigmas but this author traverses the issues and displays them in a real, raw, captivating way. While the story is not all about racial difference, the love story of Grip and Bristol is full of meaningful feelings from past and present that all intertwine into a magnificent book. The poetry, oh, the poetry. Try reading these words and tell me that Grip isn't the book boyfriend to beat all book boyfriends. There are so many great secondary characters in Still, we get to see Rhyson and Kai, Qwest, Jade, Marlon's Mom. Mrs. O’Malley that I Luv!! I need that recipe for her collards!! lol and so many others that we met on Grip. When I read the Souls series I was very much intrigued by Grip and Bristol's relationship and wondered what was their story. Because they certainly had chemistry in spades. Their simmering lust and attraction also hinted at a much more deeper connection.

Bristol and Grip's connection is why I love reading romance novels. Their game of cat and mouse that they play keeps the story fun. Their sexiness is through the roof. Their willingness to defy all odds and be together is so dreamy, so impactful, because in doing that they're each sacrificing a bit of themselves. thank you for raising such a magnificent man. He is the man of my dreams. When I thought of my husband, I didn’t dream in color, I dreamt in character." We splinter into a thousand pieces..., becoming more together than we were apart. More than we were alone. With whispered promises and words of love, we exchange hearts. I am not big on stories with a political message as I read for personal gratification and escapism.

She attended the University of North Carolina, located at Chapel Hill, and will forever be a Tar Heel. She graduated with her journalism degree and it was full steam ahead. She has since focused on doing writing for organizations that are not for profit. She has also dabbled in some ghost writing of the nonfiction variety. In the most recent years she began telling stories once more and working in fiction. Kennedy Ryan penetrated my soul with STILL. Her flawless and poetic prose kept me spellbound. Her narrative is strong, powerful and with STILL Ryan captures and explores clearly what's current in the world today, questions it and brings awareness to it with authenticity.

Yes it is a story about Love regardless of one's skin color, yet it is also a story about the harsh realities of Life. This enhanced box set includes Flow, Grip and Still - all 3 books of the groundbreaking Grip trilogy. I can easily tell that Kennedy Ryan is a huge fan and admirer of poetry. Her prose feels just like that. Poetry. Her words flows with ease, gently pulls my along like a wave and I'm immersed. I'm in another world, the world of Kennedy Ryan and that's definitely the place to be.

I love these characters. They felt so believable. I would forever read about them. Kennedy’s word flow into your soul! 🥰

I loved how all the voices sounded authentic. Never once did I wonder if a person of a different race was writing the characters. I believed the voices of all the characters.Grip has become one of my favorite heroes of all times.. I've never read a character or even met a man like him.. he is so in love with Bristol.. in a way that you can even feel it.. and that's the beauty of Kennedy's words. When you read her words you actually feel so much of what Grips is going through, or what Bristol is felling. I could feel the powerful connection between them.. the angst, the worry. Everything they went through was very well felt through Kennedys writing..
