With one hand push down firmly on the lid of the food chopper. Use your free hand to pull the rip cord that spins the chopping blades. While I like cooking, I do not particularly like spending all the time it often takes to chop vegetables with a kitchen knife. And then there is always that tension not to cut your fingers. With the Express Food Chopper, you can chop up a very broad variety of vegetables in much less time and with less waste and less work for dishwashing. For example, I like making guacamole.
