I am a coffee lover (although I don’t love it as much as Eliza does) and I wanted a cup of coffee throughout the entire book. The weirdo meet up and the cinnamon bun fiasco that continued to be an annoying part of the story until the very end. The time he spent time exploring mines with his friends certainly conjures memories of all the craziness that eventually made the small town so famous in the Heroes of Heart’s Edge series. In true "Enemy" to lovers fashion, this book will have you laughing out loud and hissing at the insults. I have some issues with this book that range from writing and development of the story, to the characters and I cannot comprehend how it has such high ratings!

It happened to be the last in the pastry case and he needs it badly, but we find out later that it is not for himself.

Insert tropes of fiesty female lead with baggage and a male lead with a tortured soul who believes he's not good enough for girl. But in the middle of the book Ms Snow takes us down this dark murder mystery side bar and the whole plot twist was unnecessary and honestly boring. From he description I thought this was going to be a cute little story about a billionaire coffee heir who meets his match with an up-and-coming coffee roaster/barista. Dakota Poe needs a job and Lincoln Burns, a wealthy grouchy man, is the owner of a fashion empire focused on extraordinary wedding gowns. One Bossy Dare is the kind of enemies to lovers I like best, with 2 lovable characters, even though it took me awhile to warm up to Mr.or the fact that the author clearly sat with a thesaurus and swapped the most random words out for words I swear I thought were typos because I have never seen them in my life. The ending is sweet though, and overall the writing kept me engaged and wanting to know what happens. He may have tried to tell her he was the owner of the coffee chain, but it didn't really matter, he was still a jerk. All in all the only reason I finished this book is because I was bored and momma didn’t raise a bitch lol anyways yeah don’t waste your time with this one folks.
