Ring Sizer, Reusable Ring Sizer, Adjustable Plastic Ring Size Finder, Full Half Size US, Ring Size Tool, Discover Your True Ring Size Get your ring professionally resized for a permanent solution. If your ring slides around constantly or is just clearly too large, the best thing to do is to get it resized. While this may be a little more expensive, resizing your ring will ensure that it’s comfortable and permanently fixed. To resize the ring, your jeweler will likely cut out a small section of the ring and rejoin it so it’s the right size. [9] X Research source If your ring is still sliding around on your finger, apply another clear coat layer on top of the first layer to give it more height. Metallic or plastic options for snuggies– the metallic and the plastic ring adjusters or ring snuggies work great, but most of the time, the plastic ring snuggies work great, with the ones made of silicone offering a more comfortable fit. But for a more permanent solution, you may opt for the metallic ring snuggies. But before you buy the snuggies, you need to make sure that the size is right and the adjuster fits comfortably and more securely. Talk to a professional first– while it’s one of the top-recommended solutions for use when trying to ensure that the ring fits comfortably, you also need to make sure that you talk to your professional about the kind of ring adjuster that would work perfectly for you. Besides getting an accurate recommendation of what works best for you, you will also come across several other options that would work best. Also, it’s easier to get the ring snuggies in the right size when you involve a professional.I used to get two small gold or silver balls welded to the bottom of my rings by my jeweler to minimize the sliding. However, this cannot be done on rings that are plated, such as silver rings plated in rhodium (which minimizes tarnish and gives a more “platinum” appearance.) A couple of my gold rings also have a finish that prohibits this solution as well. Finally, my collection of rings has expanded into the hundreds and it’s cost prohibitive to have all the rings which qualify for the “ball” treatment modified. Plus, I get better results with the Ring Snuggies with less sliding.

White or Yellow Gold Filled Ring Guard Small Medium Large, Ring Guard Adjuster Spacers Ring Sizers, Engagement Rings, Bands 3pcs Pay a jeweler to add a metal spring insert to your ring for a comfortable fix. Spring inserts are ‘U’ shaped and attach to the inside of your ring’s band. When you slide your finger into your ring, the metal ‘U’ shape will expand to hold your ring in place on your finger. [8] X Research source All you need to do is to tie the ring snuggies on the ring, the same way the ring huggie or the ring snug works, reducing the size of the ring while ensuring a more comfortable fit.

For example, if your ring was made out of 14K gold, the beads that are attached would be made of 14K gold as well to match. This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items.

These probably work for me because they are put on AFTER the ring is in place. There are basically two options; a very minimal round shaped plastic band placed over the ring bottom or a larger plastic piece which slides under and then over the bottom of the ring band. Both work well. I find the larger plastic piece easier to put on and use it more often. However, because of its design the smaller attachment has a smaller “footprint.” Pull the fishing line taut as you’re looping it through the band to make sure it stays on the ring tightly. This will also help you push the loops together more easily. Since the ring snuggies come in different shapes and sizes, you are certain that the ring will always fit right, as long as you get the right size for the snuggies, well, and your finger plus the ring size. Set 4 Ring Guards Reduced fit 1/2 size down 4 pcs Solid Silver 925 Adjusters with 2 x 2mm and 2 x 3 mm band A Custom FitLoop clear fishing line around the ring to help keep it in place. Cut a strand of clear fishing line that’s at least 5 in (13 cm) long. String the clear fishing line through the ring and tie a knot near the edge of the band to keep it secure. Begin wrapping the fishing line through the band to create loops and push the loops close together when they’re on the band. Once you get to the other side of the band, tie another knot to secure the fishing line in place. [5] X Research source What are ring snuggies and how does it work? If your ring no longer fits snuggly as it did and you hate the feeling of the ring feeling loose and spinning around the finger, but you don’t want to employ a permanent solution to the problem, you need a temporary, economical solution, and the ring snuggies would be the very best option for you. Wrap clear Scotch tape around your ring’s band to make it feel smaller. Pull off a piece of tape that’s roughly 2 in (5.1 cm) long. Start at one end of the tape and begin rolling it in a circle on top of itself, leaving enough length at the end to wrap around your ring’s band. Once the tape is in a small ball, flatten the ball and place it inside your ring on the bottom of the band. Use the extra length of tape that isn’t in a ball to secure it to the band. [2] X Research source The downside to the product is that I have a clear plastic attachment on the inside of my rings (on the palm side) which is more apparent with larger attachment than the smaller. Also, it complicates hand washing. Neither of these are a dealbreaker for me though. I almost never show people the palms of my hands and even handholding is relatively unchanged with the smaller attachment. Since I wear sunscreen on my hands while out during the day, I’m used to minimizing the things I touch and use hand sanitizer strategically (so I don’t wash the sunscreen off the outer sun exposed portion of my hands). If you’re someone who frequently needs to scrub your hands with soap and water, I don’t think this product would be the best for you. Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers!
