Let me start by saying that if you’re ever going to take a book rec from me, please make it this one. His career is at its peak, his friends are performing better than ever, and there’s no shortage of women to spend the night with. i also don't like giving 1 stars, because though i love my 2 and 3 stars, i recognize that a lot of effort with generally good intentions was put into any given book and i don't want to shit on that. He's my favorite goofball all wrapped up in a fuckboy uniform with a golden retriever smile and a sailor mouth. If that’s what it was, then that needs to be explained, because my brain cannot picture a way that “holding her down by the throat” isn’t the beginning of a horror snuff book.

Though she’s always been an avid reader and forever dreamt of becoming an author, Becka didn’t begin writing books until after the loss of her brother. Growing up, Becka's ambition was to create a dream world for readers to slip into, a place to escape and fall in love, much like the ones she so enjoyed getting lost in herself. The way he messes around on the ice before and during the one game that was described, would’ve gotten him fired from that team.How cuddly they were (i guess it is in the same team as cute and fluffy but i am in a good mood so i give extra points for that! I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this new-to-me author, but I’ll admit that I’m a softie for a manhoe who is smacked upside the head the moment he meets the right girl – and that is exactly what this story is all about. I loved it so much that I haven’t even started the next interconnected standalone in the series, because I wanted to bask in my love a little longer. I mean, I get liking the chase, I also get feeling very attracted to someone but for this absolute fascination to count as believable, I need more.

Therefore my focus was on ratings and game attendance in the US, which is where these leagues make the lion’s share of their profits (these profits being a big factor in what kind of salaries athletes can demand). Also unsure if time in this fictional world worked like dog years because these two literally knew each other for less than two moon cycles and kept saying shit like "I know them well-enough.Women throw themselves at him and he doesn’t mind saying yes but he makes it clear he doesn’t do sleepovers and he never gives out his number. I don’t want to suggest that it’s all racism (I don’t believe that), and I certainly don’t fault readers for enjoying or reading the books. If I have to read another book that has ADULTS (this is not a YA, teen, New Age/college age book) saying things like “Amazeballs” “Bestie” and/or “Catching Feelings”, I’m going to stop reading books altogether. It's not that there's NO conflict but the leads communicate a lot and resolve this like a functional pair of adults.
