I’m not really one for ‘newest releases’ nor do I aim to be a ‘breaking news’ blog, however this one caught my eye. I kind of wish I could pick and choose different colors for both and create my 'ideal' basics palette, haha.

They mention that it has a great selection of natural colors and is an incredible palette for a day to day make up. Busted / Verve: Talc, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PTFE, Zinc Stearate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer. Overall, the quality of the shadows is excellent as usual and this lineup is definitely a true matte-lover's dream. Like the original, Naked2 Basics comes in a sleek, soft-touch case that has a suede-like feel and a slight sheen. Tease: Talc, Zinc Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbic Acid, PTFE.Surprisingly this is one of my favourite shades out of the palette, I don’t think I own anything else like this in my collection, it’s pretty unique – plus, it’s a new shade from UD! Bottom line: I’ve always been a fan of Urban Decay eyeshadows (so pigmented and soft) and of course love both palettes and find them different enough to own both. Urban Decay promote ‘reinvention over perfection,’ with an experimental style that reminds us that beauty is about self-expression and having fun. Half Baked is a beautiful color in both palettes, but you have to choose between the Chopper in the Naked 2 and Smog in the Naked original.

Chopper has featured in palettes before and is available individually, although I can see this being the ‘Sidecar’ of the Naked 2 Palette due to it’s glittery fall-out tendencies. From luminous shades with shimmer and sparkle to our smoothest mattes imaginable, Naked 2 is packed with 12 never-boring taupe-hued neutrals (including a gorgeous grayish brown, a glittery copper and Urban Decay's lewdest, blackest black). Could you post a video tutorial on doing the "complete eyeshadow look" with the Naked Basics that you refer to in your review? Busted is the more shimmery version of MAC Sketch, a dark plummy brown that is a new, exclusive shade to the Naked 2 palette.Foxy is not a new colour for Urban Decay, it used to be in individual pot form however it is no longer available. I much prefer the mirror size of the Naked 2 palette because it just has a clean look, and there is some extra space and a curved groove to the right of the brush tray that makes it easier to take out. The palette retails for 45,95€ as well as all the other Naked palettes, and as usual, you get 12 eyeshadow shades varying between matte shades, shimmery shades and some with noticable glitter.
