This type of perfume is not exactly my "style". I prefer gourmands and soapy, laundry-type scents. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try this out. I really love this. REM is delicate, creamy, and unusual amongst Ariana's fragrance line. The sweetness in it is tempered by this lovely, salty lavender. The dry down is gloriously smooth, creamy, lightly powdery, and musky. REM feels like a younger cousin of Clean Reserve Skin (one of my absolute favorites), but goes a little bit more floral, fruity, and powdery than Skin while keeping those same salty, musky, praline/tonka vibes. If for some reason I was told that I could only keep one perfume for the rest of my life, I would choose to keep R.E.M. I just finished up my 1.7 Oz bottle and I’m waiting for a sale at Ulta to buy my next bottle because I don’t think my collection is truly complete without this scent. In my opinion, R.E.M. is the best Ariana Grande perfume and it doesn’t smell like a conventional celebrity perfume.

The worst one of ari's perfume (I've had all except the limited editions/2.0 editions). This is a little bit sweet but it's not even nearly as sweet as any of her other perfumes. I don't like lavender that much and to me it smells like a mix of like salt and lavender and it's not that good. It's not horrible but I regret buying it tbh. I would say it's not a safe blind buy even if you like all of her other perfumes. For reference my favorite to least favorite of hers: ari, cloud, sweet like candy, god is a woman, thank you next, moonlight, r.e.m.Maison Margiela Mane 'n Tail Marc Jacobs Margaret Dabbs London Marvel Matthew Williamson Mavala Max Factor ME. It starts with a heavy initial alcohol blast which tapers off into a lightly sweet scent of salt and sandalwood. It then settles into a soothing lavender and musk, and the initial sweetness forms into a more distinctive, but very light, complimenting caramel. I agree with those who say that it is a good fragrance for night time seeing as it invokes a sense of relaxation and coziness.

It's quite cosy and warm, so would probably be better in colder weather. While it isn't very strong it has lasted on my skin for most of the day, and for the cost it wouldn't bother me having to overspray this a bit to smell it well. Not in love though, and not sure I want a full bottle, but I will keep trying the tester in case it grows on me. I can see the Mason Margiela Coffee Break vibe with the lavender and tonka however it is missing the distinct coffee note. As well CB is a bit more floral that's missing from REM; but they have similar DNAs.

I was interested in trying this perfume, as I kept hearing online reviewers as well as people on the database say that Ariana Grande R.E.M. is unusual and... leans masculine? I knew I had to test it out.

This is a dream. It doesn't blow me away, but it has its own charms. It's interesting because when I smell it closely, I mostly get a very pure lavender (the kind of scent that you get going to a lavender farm or from a small pillow / sachet filled with lavender), and a subtle sweetness paired with woodiness that likely evokes that slightly fougere signature that some people talk about with R.E.M., but from arms length / with my arms laid flat on my desk (I spritzed it once on my arm for test), I enjoy a very gourmand touch to the perfume. I personally don't agree with the cologne comparison but I see where they're coming from because of the lavender element. I really enjoy the zefir in this and it shines with the subtle saltiness in it. The quince and pear give it such feminine elegance. I would call this a comforting and feminine fragrance, but its also quite unisex appropriate. At first, the scent is more fresh and masculine. You can clearly smell the lavender. I don't like more masculine perfumes on myself, but weirdly, this one is an exception. I love lavender and this is one of my top 5 favourite perfumes ever. I crave it. I want it. Half of the time, I will start off my day with one perfume and end with this one. That being said, I don't think it's a perfume version of Lush' Sleepy lotion. They layer beautiful, though. But if you're looking for that soft & milky candied lavender, R.E.M won't give it to you. The lavender is not sweet. The lavender is cologney, masculine and not as smooth nor delicate as Lush's Sleepy body lotion. The sweetness in R.E.M is there because of the gourmand and fruity notes on top, but it's also fleeting. It doesn't give a candied effect to the lavender, if that makes sense... I really appreciate how different this fragrance is from the rest of the AG's line. It's not as sweet, definitely unisex, with an interesting mix of notes.I like that this is a more unisex offering from Ari's lineup. It starts off almost like warm aftershave... In a nice, sweet, cozy way. The caramel and what I suppose is the zefir becomes more evident in the drydown after some of the aromatic top notes wear off, leaving mostly sweetness with a bit of lavender. It's a soothing fragrance that feels like a hug. Sweeter (and more wearable on me) than Replica Coffee Break. coolly sweet but not in a cloying gourmand nor an overly powdery way(fig, quince). like maybe a softer version of ari. something cottony, something that smells like my stepmom's perfume. gets very gourmet candy store sweet. there's a victorias secret vibe about this but at a pleasant, subtle level. faded into a moonlight-esque scent pretty fast(sandalwood, tonka bean), but i did try this in warm weather. I suppose AG had wanted to target younger audience with the design but I feel that the bottle on its own without the cheap plastic holder looks better and matches the scent better. It give a whole channel vibe without the holder, and that to me looks elegant.

Now you're going home, you realize his cologne is still lingering on your clothes and is mixing with your sweet perfume. It's already making you nostalgic of this magical moment. Ariana Grande’s newest fragrance, Thank U, Next bursts opens with juicy notes of sparkling white pear and wild raspberry that soften with a heart of creamy coconut and delicate pink rose petals. Divine velvety musk infuses classic Ari sass, while macaroon sugar adds playful femininity. Full of attitude, full of sweetness. I haven’t been so driven to impulse buy something I tried since I sampled Fluer Musc from Narcisco Rodriguez. This is such a lovely skin scent and is honestly one of my favourite fragrances at the moment. I feel like the best way to describe it is as your skin but better. It smells like clean skin (but it's not at all soapy) with an added sweetness and something else that's just amazing. I think it's a pretty unique smell, especially for a celebrity perfume.

I was looking forward to wearing this this spring and summer, but I believe this is more of an autumn/winter fragrance. I always found that the sweet opening would be more prominent on textile vs on my skin. With my skin chemistry, it also pulls more masculine. I received a tester of this one and have been wearing it all day. It's quite nice, not my favourite scent, but it's pleasant to sit in. I agree that it leans more unisex than feminine. This scent gives me a working mature woman or maybe a girl going out to the club. It's so synthetic, I'm positive this is a 100% fragrance oil perfume. Honestly its reminiscent of Liz Taylor perfumes, even with the quartz crystal bottle holder giving those "sparkling white diamonds" vibes.
