The cutting height can be adjusted manually by pressing the button at the top between 3 options: 30, 40 or 50 mm (1.18″ to 1.97″). Bosch Indego 350 robot mower’s battery is equipped with temperature monitoring which allows charging only when the battery temperature is between 5 °C and 45 °C (41°F to 133°F). Batteries don’t fare well in neither cold nor hot temperatures. There are quite a few options to choose from. Bosch Indego 350 is a more expensive one among those robot mowers able to cover a lawn up to around 350 m² (0.087 ac.). If you preferred quality over price, and the features were right for you, this is a reliable option.

don’t forget to unplug the power supply connected to the charging station you left outside for winter; Now this feature is for mowing just a few meter radius spot on the lawn so as to avoid having to wait for the mower to get to this one spot by taking on the entire lawn from the beginning. The way it works is you first bring the mower over to the location manually and then give it this SpotMow mowing command upon which it mows a few meter radius. There’s more info on how it exactly works in the manual. How quiet is 63 dB? Sources say it’s comparable to a normal conversation sound levels (around 60 dB). A regular motorized push mower sound levels are around 90 dB and can go up to 110 dB. Instead of that, now you can start relaxing during the weekends as the mower does the work for you without damaging your hearing. You can read more here: “ How Loud Are Robot Mowers?”Store your Indego in dry place out of reach of children and within a temperature range of -20°C and 50°C. If your lawn is your pride and joy, the Bosch Indego S+ 500 is the mower to go for. It cuts more intelligently than most mowers because it cuts in a guided pattern, rather than bouncing around randomly. A simple bump sensor rather than an ultrasonic one that detects obstacles from afar. So when it bumps into something, it simply changes the mowing direction.

Bosch Indego S+ 400 Connect is designed for gardens up to 400 m² (or 0.1 ac.) in size in which the slopes aren’t much steeper than 15° (or 27 percent). What this does is turn off electricity to the perimeter wire when the mower is not actively mowing nor recharging. It’s when the Bosch Indego S+ 400 Connect robotic lawnmower has completed the tasks and has recharged fully, but won’t be mowing anytime soon, it just goes to sleep almost without wasting any more energy. Things activate or “wake up” once it’s time to work again as per the schedule or when you give some mowing command manually. Since this Bosch Indego S+ 400 Connect robot mower is “connected” and features over-air connectivity, it’s got an app which allows you to pair the mower with a smartphone or a tablet and thus control things remotely. You get to give the mower instructions, receive alert notifications, and more.

Initially, there likely won’t be a PIN code, so you have to set it up first using the keypad. And try not to forget the PIN code once you’ve created it! There’s no automatic zone feature for this Bosch Indego 350 robot mower. Instead what you get is 2 alternatives. The first one is MultiArea feature which allows you to set up up to 3 separate mowing areas each with their own charging station and perimeter wire loop. The second option is to create a zone no larger than 40 m² (0.0099 ac.) by extending the perimeter wire around that smaller zone. I know this was vague explanation, but there’s more info on this in the installation manual should you choose this robot mower. bosch-diy.com Bosch Indego 350 features tilt, lift, rollover, and collision sensors, but no rain sensor. With the exception of using LogiCut technology where it’s systematically mapping out the cutting area and mowing in parallel rows, but also remembering where it left off when it goes to recharge, as opposed to mowing randomly, it otherwise works much like a typical robot lawn mower would. Note that this non-connect version of Indego 350 does not feature remote control as it does not “connect” to the internet nor Bluetooth.

For extra cost, you can buy a mini garage to protect the mower against the elements while it’s charging, or buy awesome covers for it to personalize it a little more.

Add in a solid app that keeps an eye on the weather and schedules mowing times accordingly, dodging any days when you’d rather keep the lawn free from robot activity, and you’ve got one of the most intelligent robot lawn mowers around.MultiArea feature Bosch Indego S+ 400 Connect has is not the best when it comes to dealing with multiple mowing zones. I’d consider this to be an alternative to a real multi-zone feature. So then, what you get is 2 things. With the 1st one you can set up up to 3 separate mowing areas each with their own charging station and perimeter wire loop. The 2nd option is to create a zone no larger than 40 m² (0.0099 ac.) by extending the perimeter wire around that smaller zone. There’s more info on this in the manual. bosch-diy.com Bosch Indego 350 robotic lawnmower uses 3 pivoting small blades for a cutting system where they’re attached to a rotating disc. This type of cutting blade system is quieter, safer, and more energy efficient when compared to the solid blade, a common 2nd type of cutting blade system robot mower tend to have. As for the negatives, the pivoting small blades attached to a rotating disc are a little less efficient at cutting things when compared to the solid blade. And also, as you can imagine, they are more likely to break off for you to step on (but that in itself is highly unlikely to happen). You can expect quality from Germans. Most other robot mowers out there are ultimately made in China, even if at first glance it may not look like it. Bosch Indego 350 is meant for small lawns up to 350 m² (or 0.087 ac.) with slopes no steeper than 15° (or 27 percent). It’s otherwise an autonomous robotic lawnmower running on electricity and using 18 V 2.5 Ah lithium-ion rechargeable battery. It’s got 3 pivoting small blades for a cutting system that mulches grass pretty quietly (up to 63 dB) while maintaining your lawn at a cutting height of 30-50 mm (or 1.18″ to 1.97″).
