This book isn’t about ‘feminism’ as a movement in itself but the reverence of the feminine, the balance of all things which has to be so for life to exist. I am completely obsessed with Mary Magdalene Revealed - and being this moved by this book has come as quite a shock (as a Jewish woman with seemingly no interest in this topic but a deep appreciation for Meggan's writing) yet I am underlining and weeping like crazy! I recommend the original work of Harvard University Professor Karen King “The Gospel of Mary of Magdala: Jesus and the first woman apostle” for a deeper discussion. There are so many gems of original writing, themes and insights that makes it a book of great importance if we are to fully integrate our history and reclaim our sense of worth in a culture that is misguided by the insatiable quest to acquire material worth, power over others, and supremacy.I went home that day and made a copper tree of life, living cross vibrant and alive, and bearing much fruit. Let’s not forget other spiritual leaders of Christianity, including Mary of Nazareth and Joan of Arc.
