Description

To reinforce the speed of the TP-Link Deco X50 outdoor, it further comes with OFDMA. This is nothing complex; OFDMA is simply a feature that lets the device communicate with several Wi-Fi 6 clients. Put simply, it ensures that you get the fastest possible speeds, even if you have multiple devices connected at the same time. multicoloured LED set into the base that glows various hues to let you know when something’s amiss. The TP-Link Deco X50 PoE also has a high Wi-Fi capacity, distributing devices to different bands for optimal performance. It features 2×2 MU-MIMO that communicates concurrently with multiple MU-MIMO clients and with OFDMA, simultaneously communicates with multiple WiFi 6 clients. The Deco app also works as a smart-home hub, offering one-touch controls for TP-Link’s Kasa appliances, plus integrations with Philips Hue and Samsung SmartThings. I suspect most people already have this covered through the Alexa or Google Home apps but the simple automations could be useful, allowing you to set network events as triggers for IoT actions.

The hardware can work as a PoE wired or a fully wireless mesh satellite to connect to an existing network. Clearly, for best performance, wiring is recommended. You can use the new hardware as the satellite of any existing Deco router or as the router unit of a new mesh. Both of these Wi-Fi mesh systems offer cutting-edge Wi-Fi 6 technology, ensuring lightning-fast speeds and stable connections. But while they share some similarities, there are also some notable differences that set them apart from each other. The TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor is designed to be used outdoors, with weather-resistant hardware and a durable build that can withstand harsh conditions. On the other hand, the TP-Link Deco X50 PoE is an ideal option for businesses or larger homes with multiple access points. After successfully completing the configuration, take Deco X50-Outdoor, its baseplate, the installation accessories, and tools to the desired outdoor area. If X50-Outdoor and the closest indoor Deco are connected wirelessly, it is recommended to keep the distance between X50-Outdoor and indoor unit within 33 feet (or 10 meters)to 50 feet (or 15 meters). It is preferable to place the indoor Deco near a window, if possible, to minimize the obstacles between the two units. If X50-Outdoor and the indoor unit are connected via ethernet, then there is no such restriction.

After selecting the installation location, please insert the Ethernet cable and/or power cord according to your own situation. Voor het gebruik van wifi 6 en functies zoals OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM en BSS Color zijn clients vereist die deze functies ondersteunen. Použití WiFi 6 a dalších funkcí včetně OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM a BSS Color vyžaduje, aby klienti také podporovali odpovídající funkce. Remove the base plate from Deco X50-Outdoor (store carefully to avoid losing base plate and screws). The TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor and TP-Link Deco X50 PoE are excellent Wi-Fi mesh systems, but they are tailored for different purposes. The Deco X50 Outdoor is perfect for outdoor environments and functions indoors as well, while the Deco X50 PoE is ideal for businesses or larger homes with multiple access points.

Supports PoE/AC Power Supply

Protection against lightning and electro-static discharge may be achieved through proper product setup, grounding and cable shielding. Refer to the instruction manual and consult an IT professional to assist with setting up this product. And like all Decos, including the latest Deco XE200, the new Deco X50 variants have limited Wi-Fi and networking customization. Uses of WiFi 6 and other features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, and BSS Color require clients to also support the corresponding features. The release of the TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor (AX3000) and TP-Link Deco X50 PoE (AX3000) comes with great expectations. With these two devices, you are dealing with very powerful and contemporary Wi-Fi devices. As more and more of our daily lives depend on being connected to the internet, having a reliable Wi-Fi mesh system has become essential. Whether you’re working from home, streaming movies, or playing online games, a strong and stable Wi-Fi reception is crucial and that’s where the TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor (AX3000) and TP-Link Deco X50 PoE (AX3000) come in.
