Fleury aims to challenge familiar photographic structural tropes of 'families', 'categories' and other groupings with the submitted material, by collapsing these very notions through the inclusivity YES TO ALL calls for. Why submit to issue 14? In relation to our 15th anniversary, we are awarding a Guest Room Scholarship: an artist stipend of 1.000 € to one of the selected submitters of each upcoming Guest Room. For the chance to be awarded a stipend submit before the deadline on November 23. In referencing works from mainstream art and photography, which most people are familiar with, I want to speak about the period of my life, where arts education was not prioritized. I barely know about Vietnamese art, much less about Vietnamese photography, and European art or American photography are the two main things that were taught to me during my years living abroad. It is in a way a ... We periodically invite our alumni, artists we have featured in the past, to share their new work and projects with us. Yet they still move naturally. Good special effects. The Swiss artist was born in 1961 in Geneva, where she lives and works.
