Fleury aims to challenge familiar photographic structural tropes of 'families', 'categories' and other groupings with the submitted material, by collapsing these very notions through the inclusivity YES TO ALL calls for. Why submit to issue 14? In relation to our 15th anniversary, we are awarding a Guest Room Scholarship: an artist stipend of 1.000 € to one of the selected submitters of each upcoming Guest Room. I thought the acting seemed poor also when I was watching the dubbed version, but then halfway through the first episode I switched over to German language with subtitles and the acting seemed much more naturalistic then. I don’t think the actors who dubbed the English language version quite nailed it. The prosthetics for the slave hunters is very unique and realistic. They really look like they’re made of stone. Yet they still move naturally. Good special effects. The Swiss artist was born in 1961 in Geneva, where she lives and works. Fleury has had numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. In 2018 she was awarded Switzerland's Prix Meret Oppenheim and in 2015 received the Société des Arts de Genève Prize. Her work is held in international institutions.
