With that said, they are all coated in a layer of paint which matches the wood stain of the keyboard itself, and the legs have some extra wood grain style textures in them to keep up the look. Getting used to the plastic keys and the weight of the keys is a bit of a learning curve but if you've never played on a real piano I dont see any problems with it.

The PSR-EW425 and PSR-E473 have 76- and 61-note touch-sensitive keyboards respectively, and offer an impressive and all-encompassing 820 voices apiece. The USB-MIDI connectivity allows you to record and compose your music ideas on music editing software on the PC. The amp and speakers – while adequate – aren't as powerful and full sounding as larger rivals, however, though with a decent pair of headphones you'll skip any worries. I think it’s fair to say that the Donner DDP-80 digital piano is a good choice for beginners and experienced players alike.

This is unlikely to be a ‘set and forget’ knob - particularly if you switch between using the speakers and headphones - and turning it either up or down is fiddly to say the least, particularly if you’ve got the piano up close to a wall.
