Khakee – The Bihar Chapter Review: Storytelling is an art, and India is blessed to have countless poets, writers, and sages who have penned down some of the finest stories. These stories have all the necessary ingredients to complement Bollywood, which is currently struggling to find refreshing content. However, in the past, there have been several adaptations of books into movies or web series that were terribly awful. The prime example being the TV series Chandrakanta, which failed to live up to the original novel of the same name. Today in this article we are going to review this best web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter. Very well made. Bihar of 90s and 2000s was a unique place - mafia, politicians and police often coalesced in each others territory. Some Criminals were hailed as robinhoods while at times police hardly put up any resistance to criminals and extortionists.

The unit alleged that Lodha received Rs 12,372 from the production house, while his wife Koumidi received Rs 38.25 lakh into her account. An FIR filed against the cop states that there was an agreement with Koumidi to facilitate the “transaction of illicitly acquired wealth” when her husband was posted as Inspector General of Police in Gaya. A case was registered against Lodha on 7 December by the Special Vigilance Unit of Bihar under sections 120B and 168 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Gangs of Wasseypur was released 10 years ago but the glass ceiling it broke, the unchartered territory it opened to stories like these from badlands & hinterland to be shown to pan India audience - will be permanently indebted to it. The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi). Bihar Diaries: IPS Amit Lodha's life makes for thrilling book, Bollywood film". Hindustan Times. 2018-07-23 . Retrieved 2022-12-15.Khakee:the bihar chapter is an action crime drama show directed by bhav dhulia. Its total duration is 6 hrs. The book is written in a very conversational tone which makes it fun and easy to read. If you watch Mr Lodha's interviews before reading this book (and I recommend that you should), you will actually feel that he's narrating it to you in his own voice and unique style.

Lodha, too, wishes actor Akshay Kumar to play his part on-screen. Alongside, he credits actor Emraan Hashmi for making him meet author S Hussain Zaidi, who in turn guided this officer to pen down his encounters with criminals. Couple of sore points - showing the female telecom company manager frequently was incongruous and also felt somewhat gratuitous. Her character felt like forcibly inserted in the script just to provide eye-candy. She was made to wear low-waist saree and shown repeatedly; which was unnecessary. Also the way that the crafty Chandan Mahto fell into Amit Lodha's trap in the end felt too easy. Another plot-hole (and a major one at that) is how the cops managed to record Chawanprash's wife professing her love to Chandan? Without making Chawanprash listen to that recording, it would have been impossible to convince him to testify against Chandan. An engineer, an IPS and a writer. Amit Lodha writes a gripping real-life tale of his experiences from Bihar. An exciting read! Must read for anyone who wants to be a civil service cadre, especially police. Apart from the story of catching the once most notorious criminal of Bihar, which was very thrilling actually, it depicts the life of a public servant in an engaging manner. This one is a web series based on true events that took place in the early 2000s in the Wild West of India-Bihar.

After researching a lot, we found that he is a married man. At present, Mahto is living in Bihar along with his wife and kids. However, the name of his wife has not been revealed yet. There is also no proper information available about Mahto’s children. This show has the minimum nuance which was evident from the trailer itself. But the mass is incorporated so well with class that you cannot help admiring it. For example, the character of ashutosh rana, while calling everyone 'babu', maintains his seniority alongside. Anup soni plays an honest, dutiful officer with ease. Abhimanyu singh, jatin sarna, nikita dutta, etc do their job fittingly. The writing is so good that a character which is last seen in the 3rd episode will sketch its arc onto your heart. And this was possible only because ravi kishan played it. He brings such a calm madness into every role. Its unreal!Having read the book just a couple of months ago, I can say that incidents in the series have been dramatized (to make them more exciting). In the book, Amit Lodha was not directly involved in the capture of the antagonist. He was sitting in his office and directing the entire show; but the actual catching of the gangster was done by his men. However certain amount of dramatization and exaggeration is to be expected when the book gets transformed into a series. Jio World Plaza opens in Mumbai, sets the bar for top-end retail, entertainment experience in India I heard about the story from one of my friend and it's real so I thought of enjoying every part of the series.
