Overall if you're seeking a book that will undoubtedly keep you awake at night, leaving you utterly captivated by a charismatic demon whose provocative charm knows no bounds, then this is an absolute must-read. When these two meet there are instant sparks and Leon finds himself desperate to keep Rae alive even without knowing quite why. Rae is also in turn fascinated by this demon equal parts turned on and scared. Her Soul For Revenge is a masterpiece. Mic drop, the author rough her A-game and killed it!!! Her Soul To Take Should be read first, as this book runs along the same timeline, and you will have a better understanding of events.

The spicy scenes were absolutely top tier in this book for me, I loved every single one. Their chemistry is truly unmatched. Also Harley how dare you tease me with the thought of a maid outfit, shame on you!! (ily)I was all over the place in this book. I went from saying, “ You in danger, girl” (sound familiar ? ) to “I freaking love Leon. “ I just couldn’t get enough and wanted to cry when the book was over. The plot and character growth are astronomical. Parts of this book remind me of Stephen King's early work. And the steam is out of this world—one thousand out of five. I am so very thankful Harley sent me a copy of her new title, Her Soul for Revenge. This is what I needed tbh. A Harley book!!! This is a paranormal romance with some horror and lots of heat. Totally new author for me and got to say I was impressed I loved this and it was mostly because of Leon I adored him in all his dominant demotic sexiness. I didn't think Harley could do this to me TWICE but they have and I'm sure they will continue to. I loved the first book in this series so much, I even put off reading this one because it's not the same couple and I realise that I was so very wrong to do so. Callum growled at my suggestion, an angry dog worried over his bone. It was a silly thing to suggest anyway: Everly had clearly already given him her soul. Souls weren’t able to be offered in parcels, it was all or nothing. Zane is a darker shade of demon from Leon and his depravity is perfect for Juniper since she is dead set on getting her revenge for the past trauma she endured. I enjoyed how Zane knew he was falling for her but still used the excuse of “wanting her soul” as his reason to be near her. I also LOVED how we see him and Leon more (and read about his POV about events that occur in book 1). His demonic side was also perfectly created to match Juniper and their quest to get revenge kept me on edge the whole time since he figures out she still hears the “dark God’s” voice in her head.Raelynn and Leon's chemistry is on another level. I wasn't fully convinced by their romance, at first, but once they started becoming friends, it was undeniable that these two are made for each other and would do anything to keep the other from suffering. Erm how cute are Everly and Callum I need their book come on a witch and an arch-demon POWER COUPLE. The way callum was already possessive and protective over Everly tells me I’m going to LOVE THEIR BOOK but the growling erm … he’s a demon so maybe that’s why he’s doing that 😭💀 There’s my good girl,” I murmured, keeping my pace steady, holding her tight as she gasped. “Come for me, love.” Review: AHH!! Juniper and Zane are IT for me in this series! In this dual POV story, Harley divulges the dark past of Juniper and her tie to Leon and the cult. Juni is really a fierce FMC who I could not read enough of and when paired with Zane this duo was top-notch.

The fact that Leon stayed with Rae and protected her even after he found the grimour bearing in mind She hadnt taken the deal of giving her soul meant everything. Taking her soul for Leon was important because demons possessed and he wanted Rae to stay immortal with him forever. The fact that he stayed showed how much affection he had towards Rae as he hated earth because of all the torture and captivity he faced due to the hadelighs HOW CAN WE NOT LOVE LEON

The story started slowly, building the scenery and the characters and I wasn't too impressed... I was like: okay, that's it? All that fuss just for a gothic girl in a city controlled by a cult with a slaved demon? Yeah... Boooo! Obviously, the smut was also so freaking hot, dirty and just filthy AF!!! I thought the smut in book one was dirty but boy I was not prepared for this one here… it definitely hit different! Never underestimate our girl Juniper, she is strong, sassy, puts up with nothing, and is murderous. She has been in survival mode for years and going from place to place. Now the reason for my rating, at the end of 𝐇𝐒𝐓𝐓 we know that him and Juniper are a thing and i didn't really like that because 𝐈 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑. Actually it was worse this time because we didn't have her for just two scenes and unfortunately too much of her made her 𝐒𝐎 𝐅#𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 to me.
