It is quite disrespectful when you use them (several in a previous book) in your writing and can't be bothered to get it right.

The ground colour is a deep ashy or purplish-black; the dorsal band orange, broken up with black markings as in the former stage. We have a few specimens of this species in our collection, most of which are from the D H Walker entomology collection. The spiny caterpillars are striking in appearance, with black bodies and a line of eight reddish-orange dots running down the back (aposematic, warning coloration). I saw my first Camberwell Beauty in a garden off the Knavesmire, York, in 1976, but none since this one turned up on our door step.I remember it was Saturday 5th August and my wife was at work so I was looking after my three year old daughter Emma. This suggests it is a name which came with Scandinavian or German rather than with British settlers, for whom this species would be considerably less familiar. This was enjoyable but not as enjoyable as the others I have read - such a shame both main characters are not particularly nice and the ending seemed a little hurried - I would have liked one more chapter to give Anna a final ending.

Big-hearted Jo Metcalf at number 95 is desperate for a good friend and homes in on the rather elusive, beautiful Anna Cunningham who lives at the Pink House, and a friendship ensues. I live in Camberwell and you don't find a lot of literature using this borough as setting, it is not Notting Hill after all.In North America this butterfly occurs everywhere from the edge of the tundra belt southwards to central New Mexico; it is not reported from the Caribbean and is rarely seen in the peninsular region of Florida.

We are left with lots of unanswered questions meaning that this novel will stay in my head for a long time. It was supposed to be 2 stars but I updgraded it to three stars because the storyline was carried out interestingly and kept me hooked.Such a deep red colour as this is unusual, as the other batches did not attain so deep a hue, the normal change of colouring being from a deep ochreous-yellow and olive-brown to a deep red-brown; then the larva begins to show under the shell, exhibiting a pale ochreous body and dark brown head, which gradually turns to black; the shell is then of a glistening pearl-grey. I remember seeing literally thousands once in Finland where they were so abundant they were frequently hitting the car windscreen as we drove through clouds of them. Each story is full of comic insight and realistic observation of contemporary British life and focuses on the very different lives of a set of characters living in the same street. The Camberwell Beauty likes to rest in direct sunlight on dark tree bark where it can use its dark colours to absorb sunlight heat and also avoid predators due to excellent camouflage [3].
