This flavour contains whole corn, whole wheat, whole oat flour, sunflower oil, rice flour, sugar, and sea salt flavour, making it the most simple recipe among the entire flavour catalogue. Except honey, the remaining ingredients are all derived from milk, which obviously means the aforementioned flavours are not suitable for vegans. They are, however, suitable for vegetarians. This flavour contains whole corn, whole wheat, whole rice flour, whole oat flour, sunflower oil, sugar, sun ripened sweet chilli flavour (which includes salt, tomato powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and citric acid), cayenne chilli pepper, ginger extract, star anise oil, fennel oil, soy sauce powder, paprika extract, and natural flavouring.

As you can see, many of the flavours are not suitable for vegans, but there are also vegan flavours, particularly the lightly sea salted flavour, which is the one I usually carry home. While we cannot consider them a healthy food, they’re still better than regular crisps because they contain 67% whole cereals in the form of whole corn, whole oats, and whole wheat, which also means that Sunbites have more fibre than regular crisps.
