I've just researched this a bit further and there is a way to reset the counter via the printer menu but we need to get it into service mode to find the correct option. The best way to do it is shown in the following video on youtube. It's explaining how to reset the fuser counter but during the video, you'll also see the menu option for resetting the transfer belt which is the one we need. I have a Samsung Xpress C430W printer and I am getting a regular pattern of pale blue spots on every print. Do you have any advice on how to reset the transfer belt counter specifically for this device (or the HP CLJ190 which appears to be identical)? Otherwise, I will have to throw the device away after only a year of use, as HP doesn't seem to offer printer support for my region.
