The following is a brief comparison between BOLLSEN Music Sound PRO, Senner Musicpro and Alpine plugs. It can be hanged onto your key ring or carabineer, so that you can always have your earplugs with you. Luckily they come in a pack of 100 but if you are concerned about wastage, stick to a reusable option.

I will keep on using them, as I had a little bit of ringing when leaving the theater but nothing major, next day I was listening as always with no ringing at all and that is extremely nice. Meanwhile, the wayward plug was on the other side of the bed after having fallen out midway through the night. The Alpines are great for protection but the sound is not great, very low mid heavy, they tend to leave around the 150-400Hz range relatively untouched which makes for a very "woolly", "honky" undefined sound that masks all detail for guitars and vocals.

But there are many others that seem to be just as good on the market (very similar acoustic specifications and slightly varying sizes and shapes of cases). They don't seem to alter the pitch of the music and my perception of my own speaking voice isn't substantially changed, as it it with other (safety dept issued) general purpose ear plugs They are robust, easy to put in and I can hear when I get home. The earplugs indeed take away from the concert experience and that is the reason I'm not rating the five stars. SNR stands for “Single Number Rating” and is an average value for different frequencies, which was determined by independent German laboratories (EU notified body). HYPOALLERGENIC MATERIAL: the Senner earplugs SennerSoftTouch has been tested by independent German laboratories and is suitable for long periods of wear. Senner Musicpro, the optimal hearing protection for concerts or as hearing protection for musicians. For decades, we have tested a wide variety of products every day and after countless attempts, we have developed the perfect earplugs, which are one of the best-selling earplugs in Europe. Our earplugs are made of medical silicone and are free of BPA, PVC, softening agents, latex and cadmium.

We looked out for size, comfort, ease in use (because it’s not always a case of squeezing them into your drums) and most importantly of all, noise cancellation.

Senner has created these earplugs for motorcyclists to cut down on the likes of wind and noise that can wreak havoc on your ear drums - but you will still be able to hear traffic for safety reasons. This was my night, repeatedly pushing these back in (mostly in the left ear but that's just my head). Instead of opting for the cheapest you can have delivered, it is worth taking a bit more care and consideration so that you will have ear plugs that will do the job, and last. I know all too well the problem with investing in the wrong shaped option, only to be awoken at the crack of dawn by a gust of wind or worse, the weekly rubbish collection.

We popped them in our ears and slept soundly, living above a pub on a busy North London high street. While you can’t control the audio around you, you can zone it out almost entirely and be able to drift off without a care in the world. Why is it that every time you have an important task while working from home, there always seems to be construction happening nearby?

If the noise that you want to suppress at 4000 Hz is at the level of 80 dB and the product APV suppresses 20 dB at 4000 Hz, the user’s resultant experience will be 60 dB (64 dB with allowances for user issues). That is why we are working consistently and at high pressure to reduce our ecological footprint as best as possible. I simply could not afford this to happen again, so had a look over here and these were highly rated.I suspect that if these were made out of the same material as the Alpines they might stay deep for longer. The US label is recommended by doctors to protect your ear drums if you’re dealing with loud machinery and to doze off without annoying interruptions. While these ear plugs are not completely one use, you will find that they will only stay firmly in place for a few nights on the trot before slipping out and finding them on your pillow the next morning. I use them all the time for brass band practice and can actually hear what I'm playing (cornet) over the basses. As well, being able to communicate with someone during the concert was close to impossible with them on, even between songs, as I had to briefly take them off.
