Description

This has an interesting, loamy, spicy depth of flavour. It's 100% agave. This is not a mixto. So the rude, pompous person reviewing here who has spent over 20 years in specialist alcohol retail is wrong, I'm afraid it is actually you not the other reviewers who doesn't 'have a clue' or 'know your job'. Salt the rim of glass if desired. Pour Don Julio Reposado over ice. Squeeze the juice of half a fresh lemon into the glass. Top up with Two Keys lemon mixer and stir. Garnish with a wedge of fresh lemon. Añejo – is aged tequila. This stays in the barrels for longer – generally between one and three years – and the barrels themselves are smaller, which adds to the flavour. The General Wine Company is a family-owned and operated wine merchant in Liphook, Hampshire, England. Founded in 1982, the company has been supplying retail and trade customers with an unrivalled service and fastidious attention to detail. Shake all ingredients. Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a fresh orange twist. Maestro Dobel Diamante Raspberry Lime Heat up some olive oil in a large wok. Shallow fry the onion and garlic on a low heat until golden, then add in the red and yellow peppers. Cook for a few minutes until softened, then add in tomato, jalapeños and seasoning.A great tequila for those who like the intense agave flavour at the fore, it’s silky smooth, with citrus, almond and pepper flavours. Some people think the only way to drink this is straight up, but we think it mixes well, too.

Over ice: Add a few cubes of ice to a glass and pour in a shot of Cazcabel Coconut Tequila. This is a refreshing and easy way to enjoy the liqueur. This unaged, clear tequila is triple distilled for an exceptionally smooth sipping experience, with slight hints of citrus, floral notes and white pepper. There’s no throat burning with this premium tequila from Sauza, named for the three generations of their family who have been making their tequila since 1873.Records the default button state of the corresponding category & the status of CCPA. It works only in coordination with the primary cookie. Cazcabel Coconut Tequila is a premium coconut liqueur made with the finest 100% blue agave tequila and the freshest Jalisco coconuts. It is handcrafted in small batches by Don Cazcabel, the "Snakeman" of the Jalisco mountains, and is infused with the mystical energy of the region. Reposado – literally, a “rested” tequila, which has been aged in oak barrels for between two and 12 months. Blanco – a white-coloured spirit, bottled or stored straight after distillation or aged less than two months in stainless steel or oak barrels. It’s light for a reposado – possibly too light for some – but its unique combination of flavours saw it take the gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2009. Great for sipping, and delicious for margaritas.

Cazcabel Blanco, a spirit fashioned from the sun-baked agave and made in the heart of the Jalisco region beautifully balances the agave’s earthy notes with a fresh, citrus edge. With the fresh, earthy and dry Blanco at its heart, Cazcabel Honey adds a dose of sweet nectar to the blend. It is the world’s first honey tequila, made from 100% natural honey, giving a true, natural taste. Cazcabel Coffee blends a roasted, sweet hit of luxury coffee to the spirit with chocolate and vanilla notes. Cazcabel Reposado, rested in American oak barrels for 8 months and balances the beautiful, clean and earthy agave flavour of the double distilled Blanco with the complex but subtle aromas of toasted Oak. Finally, we have the newly added Cazcabel Coconut, a blend of succulent sweet Coconuts with the dry, earthy tones and crisp citrus edge of Cazcabel Blanco.

Don’t just take our word for it, though: the Speyside 14 Añejo won double gold in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and nabbed a highly recommended medal in the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, too. It’s also just one of five in the Storywood range and not the only one to win an award. This beautiful, colour changing tequila from The Butterfly Cannon is an instant favourite. Whether you’re already a die-hard tequila fan or new to the spirit, this modern take on tequila is guaranteed to excite you. Out of the bottle it’s pale blue in colour and transforms into a light purple once your mixer is added. Despite this excellent showmanship, it’s not all style over substance. The General Wine Company has two retail stores, one in Liphook and one in Petersfield. The company also offers nationwide delivery.

With this one, the agave comes from a different field or rancho each year, which means that (rather like wine) you get a slight variation in the aroma and taste with each batch (although unlike with wine, it’s the different terrain, not the different year, influencing the characteristic flavour). The fact that it’s produced in conjunction with Tomas Estes, an official tequila ambassador for the Mexican government, probably tells you all you need to know about the quality.Neat: Simply pour a shot of Cazcabel Coconut Tequila into a glass and enjoy. The smooth and mellow flavour is perfect for sipping on its own. Tequila can be a stiff drink, but it’s no stronger than any other spirit. When produced for consumption in Mexico it’s usually 38% ABV, but in the United States it must be at least 40% alcohol to count as the real deal. For consumption in the rest of the world, it can be anywhere between 31% and 55% ABV. How we test tequila
