Shout out to Chris Smith (the author), Roy McMillan & Karise Yansen who narrated the audiobook - it’s one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever read. In addition to the multiple narrators, there were sound effects too! It was just fantastic. It felt like a radio play. Highly recommend listening to it if audiobooks are your thing. So this unexpectedly has a lot of elements that I love - it’s a portal fantasy (my favourite type of book) & it has a narrator.
