The latest version has 137 effects and 50 user patches (says the box on mine, firmware 2.0, but mine actually has firmware 3.0...).I think I have the 50G running on the latest too, I had to update it from 2.0. from what I can tell, the 50 and 70 are basically the same except the 70 has stereo in. you can't get all the FX onto the unit at the same time, it seemed to me. so you have to choose what to put in there. I'm not sure if you can put the bass amps in though. or maybe you can but I just didn't. I'd have put it all on if I could I suppose. also some of the other FX take more DSP, so you hit the DSP limit faster.
