Description

Has 2 ins and 2 outs [stereo] and a usb port for firmwear as well as to power the unit [quite handy, I would say]. If you follow the links below and end up buying, we get a small commission which helps to keep this Whether you're a guitarist or a bass player, you can cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-70CDR. From a warm, vintage sound to a clear, modern tone, this one pedal can do it all. It offers 86 diverse options for shaping your sound. For ease of use, these are organized into the followingcategories:

If you have an MS-50G or MS-60B, note that you should NOT remove "CMN_DRV.ZDL" from your MS-50G, and you should NOT remove "CMN_BASS.ZDL" from your MS-60B. Even if some of them aren't useful to you as a player, to a point, more effects or patches means more options, so that's an important number to know. Can I run patches simultaneously? MS-70CDR: stereo in/out, USB connectivity, comes with huge range of modulation, delay, reverb effects (but no amp simulations or overdrive/fuzz/distortion effects. Can use 6 effects at once; comes with 86 effects. With custom firmware, you can add amp/overdrive effects from MS-50G, and some MS-60B effects as well. Works for guitar and bass. The Zoom MS-70CDR MultiStomp is a dedicated multi effects unit for Chorus, Delay and Reverb effects. It offers total control over each effect in a box the size of a single guitar effects stomp box! On the other hand, you may already have Chorus. Delay and Reverb units in your pedalboard but are somewhat curious about what it would sound like to pair them with - lets say - 6 extra choruses or 6 delays or any other mix of time based effects the CDR is full of. MS-60B: mono input, stereo out, USB connectivity, good range of all bass effects. Needs custom firmware to change effects out. Primarily designed for bass. Only can use 4 effects at once; comes with 58 effects.

I usually power it from a small USB battery which is slim but the same size and sits underneath it. I also started using it to make a dry path front end for a guitar or bass. simulating a neve DI preamp and compressor type situations. it can do a pretty good job imo, because you have enough slots to tailor the signal. especially when staying at the clean end. one thing I'm going to test is the voltage boost converter in it. the unit can take 3 volt from the batteries, 5 volt from the USB and 9 volt from the DC input. so I'm going to put in some high gain FX which are noisiest, wind them up, and then use external control of the voltage and current, to see if there's a place where a particular voltage drives the boost converter at its most quiet. Ideal for the player in pursuit of an extended range of sounds, the Zoom MS-70CDR Multi-Stomp Effects Pedal supplies a mighty selection of chorus, delays and reverb stylings, all within one efficient size. With everything from vintage to modernised characteristics to the sounds, get larger than life tone within the push of a button.Whether you're a guitarist or a bass player, you can cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-70CDR. From a warm, vintage sound to a clear, modern tone, this one pedal can do it all. It offers 86 diverse options for shaping your sound. For ease of use, these are organized into the following categories: Chorus If you only play guitar, or only play bass, you can remove these similar effects from the MS-70CDR that aren't for your instrument:

The latest version has 137 effects and 50 user patches (says the box on mine, firmware 2.0, but mine actually has firmware 3.0...).I think I have the 50G running on the latest too, I had to update it from 2.0. from what I can tell, the 50 and 70 are basically the same except the 70 has stereo in. you can't get all the FX onto the unit at the same time, it seemed to me. so you have to choose what to put in there. I'm not sure if you can put the bass amps in though. or maybe you can but I just didn't. I'd have put it all on if I could I suppose. also some of the other FX take more DSP, so you hit the DSP limit faster. With a total of 86 effects you'll never be short of dialing in the perfect sound with the Zoom MS-70CDR. There are 16 different chorus effects, 26 delays, 29 reverbs and 15 various modulation effects such as flangers, tremolos, vibratos, phasers and modulators.MS-50B: Vice-versa with the 50B, this is a bass-based unit, with most guitar-based FX and amp sim modules missing. Mono in, stereo out.
