The EquiGroomer Grooming Tools effectively removes loose hair, dirt and dander on all parts of a horse’s body, including its legs and bellies. The EquiGroomer’s blade is especially useful for sensitive-skinned horses. DO NOT wash your dog with human shampoo products! Only use products formulated for K9s with natural, gentle ingredients. Horse markings are typically divided into 4 categories, but there can also be combinations of markings and other potential markings.

Once your pet is full and happy with their homemade DIY Pet Treats, it’s the perfect time to groom them with our EquiGroomer grooming tools!

This simple tool is amazing! It works great on dogs that don’t normally enjoy being brushed. My dog loved it! I can’t wait to use it at work on groom dogs. I’m telling everyone about how great it is.

Before bathing – and in between baths – regular, deep brushing will help stimulate blood circulation in the skin, distribute natural oils throughout the coat and remove dirt, dead hair and dandruff. Regular brushing also keeps shedding under control. Always brush your dog just before bathing for the best results.Grooming your horse regularly will help reduce the need for frequent bathing. Also, spot cleaning (especially in the presence of infections like rain scald/rot or scratches), shampoo-less rinses and even just clear, clean water can be done more frequently with fewer negative side effects.

At the end of the day, it is the horse owner who decides on what is best for their horse, health, overall well-being and ultimately comfort. Maintaining a horse’s optimal health – including bathing – is different for each equine. I brushed my Bavarian Mountain Scenthound and I could not believe how much undercoat came out. And he was done with Furminator all over just 2 days before. Really nice piece of grooming tool! As a groomer I use it myself and recommend to my customers. Many of use create homemade treats for our dogs and cats. But have you made healthy treats for your horse? I will give a tip to everyone, you actually have to push down on it harder than you think since the teeth are so small. I was afraid I was gonna hurt her but she did NOT care she loved it. This post focuses on the information necessary to make the best decision for the equine in your life.Kathy, thanks for your very important tip. The groomer definitely works better when you use pressure but so many people are afraid to press down. But when they do, they find their pets actually enjoy the feeling, just like your cat did. Breeds: American Foxhound, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Terrier, Basset Hound, Basenji, Coonhound, Bloodhound, Lab and Pug Shape into balls of desired size or simply spoon into a dish to serve. May be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen.

According to Horse Illustrated, “horses can display a wide variety of markings on their bodies.” Horse markings are determined by genes and these white areas can be used to identify horses from others of similar color. These markings can also help prove ownership of a stolen or lost horse because rarely do two horses look exactly the same. Ermine: This describes a dark marking within the white marking above the hoof but also touching the coronet (coronary band) which differentiates it from a regular spot. Blaze: Where the white vertical line is wider and more prominent than a strip (above). May stop partway down the forehead or continue to the muzzle. If you are a horse owner, you have probably had (many) conversations about proper bathing for your horse and with each question comes a variety of – even conflicting – answers. Is bathing good for their skin or does it dry it out? Should you use warm or cold water when bathing in the summer heat? When is regular bathing too much? To buy an Equigroomer and have it shipped all the way to central Europe was absolutely worth it! It was my last attempt in finding a deshedding tool for my cats, that they tolerate. And they not only tolerate but love it! Even Missy, my noble cat lady, is so relaxed, she can’t even keep her eyes open when I’m using it on her. What’s more, it really does work in pulling out so much of the dead hair, I actually see the difference on my furniture.Thank You!Unsure about how often to bathe your horse? Talk to other experienced horse owners as well as your vet. Also closely monitor your horse after each bathing and then proactively adjust the frequency and products for the best outcome! Proper Omega-3s and Omega-6s will leave your horse with a shiny coat and improved hoof growth! More beneficial than flax and fish oils, chia seeds contain higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids which offer:
