WHICH IS BETTER FOR DARK CIRCLES? CAFFEINE EYE CREAM OR BRIGHTEN-I EYE CREAM?Both eye creams would be suitable, this will further depend on your preference. Caffeine for eyes can be great for dark circles. A caffeine eye cream for dark circles is an anti-inflammatory antioxidant derived from coffee. It helps to reduce puffiness, dark circles and prevent skin damage from free radicals which can make dark circles more pronounced. Brighten-i Eye Cream gives an instant illuminating and priming effect while providing long-term brightening benefits. 4x more potent than Vitamin C this helps aid the long-term improvement of dark circles, while also helping to instantly illuminate and prime the undereye for an instant boost or an ideal make up base. The Caffeine under eye cream will help more with puffiness whereas the Brighten-i will be better for brightening. Puffiness tends to occur when fluid gets trapped around the eye area, generally when you sleep. Fluid retention, also known as edema, can increase as a result of ageing as the tissue in the eyelids weakens leaving space for fluid to get trapped. Alongside fluid, other causes can include not enough sleep, genetics, crying (we’ve all been there) and potential allergies. Cooling the skin slows the blood flow to the area and soothes the swelling whilst hydrating products will reduce the retention.
