Cystocalm sachets is a treatment that is aimed to reduce symptoms of cystitis or a UTI in women. Cystocalm has been formulated with an active ingredient known as sodium citrate, which specifically helps to make your urine less acidic. When the acidity of your urine is lowered, symptoms from cystitis are reduced, ensuring you do not feel the same level of pain, stinging or burning sensation. It also in turn, produces a harsher environment for bacteria and prevents them from thriving. Cystcocalm has a cranberry flavour that can be mixed into a tasteful drink to alleviate your discomfort with a 2 day treatment. This medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless considered essential by your doctor. Seek medical advice from your doctor or midwife if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and have symptoms of cystitis. Cystitis Relief Sachets contain: Granules, providing a combined alkalinity equivalent to 4.4g sodium citrate, containing Sodium citrate 2.8g. Citric acid (anhydrous) 1g. Sodium bicarbonate 1.2g. Sodium carbonate 0.1g. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
