Date/s you would be interested in booking for your tour. We are able to accommodate weekdays and weekends. From the moment I opened the book I couldn’t stop smiling. I fell in love with the writing style straight away – quirky, humorous and light hearted. For any readers who LOVE whodunnits, Montgomery Bonbon is the book to read! The funniest detectives in children's fiction – I loved it so much. Put on your fake moustaches and join the murdery fun! Many people go their whole lives without noticing anything that is afoot, amiss, or even untoward; without ever experiencing that toe-tingling, stomach-twisting sensation that a mystery is about to unfold.
Not Bonnie Montgomery – the world’s best detective. Not that anyone (other than Grampa Banks) has heard of her… But they might have heard of the great Montgomery Bonbon, the well-dressed gentleman detective who (apart from the hat and moustache) looks suspiciously like a 10-year-old girl.
Their newest case: solving the mystery surrounding a highly suspicious death at the Hornville Museum. Together they'll interview some dodgy witnesses, scour the scene for clues and – above all – hope no one notices that Bonnie and Montgomery are never in the same room at the same time...

The book is really good fun. It will keep children entertained and laughing the whole way through. Alongside the brilliant plot are some fabulous drawings too. While the plot is convincing enough to engage readers and keep them guessing, the underlying mood of Bonnie’s story is a gentle humour. And there is never any doubt that, without the false moustache and raincoat, Montgomery Bonbon looks remarkably like a ten-year-old girl. Not Bonnie Montgomery - the world's best detective. It is however still difficult to believe such a young child could solve a murder - or that a murder is really understandable to the magnitude it would likely need to be to solve it at the ripe age of 10! But, dead body aside, this is a fun story and I think a lot of mature children would enjoy reading it. Ten-Year-old Bonnie Montgomery believes she is the world’s greatest detective although no one knows about her detective skill except her Grampa as she goes under the disguise of Montgomery Bonbon a distinguished gentleman with a French accent, fine clothes, and a moustache. We are first introduced to Bonnie Montgomery when she visits the local museum with her Grampa Banks. Hornville's Museum of Natural History is no ordinary museum and Bonnie is super excited to visit the museum because of its bizarre collection. She loves outings with her Grampa during the summer holidays and this one is no exception. Whilst she is there, the lights go out and a loud scream can be heard. A murder has been committed. Bonnie then changes into her alter ego - Montgomery Bonbon, the famous detective. Tablet support (coming soon) and a handling collection and items to touch. Access dogs are welcome.
